Tobacco Barn

Welcome to Wissel's last tobacco barn. The dune village of Wissel is located between meadows and water, the Rhine and the "Wisseler See" bathing lake. Where cigar leaves hung from the ceiling until the 1950s, you can now unwind in our lovingly restored, loft-like barn.

The listed, loft-like accommodation sleeps 4 with 2 double beds on two galleries. In the lower, open-plan living area, a further sleeping place can be made up on the sofa bed. A baby travel cot is also available. The modern kitchen is well equipped so that you can cater for yourself. A fireplace provides relaxation on cold days, the cottage garden on warm days. The bathroom with ground-level shower has been completely rebuilt in the barn.

Spend memorable holidays filled with cycling tours along the Lower Rhine, walks through the Wissel dunes, swimming at Lake Wissel ... (we help with the planning).

Wir und unsere Kinder haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt; bestens versorgt mit einer tollen Unterkunft, viel Herzlichkeit und tollen Ausflugstipps. Die Woche war zu schnell vorbei und wir kommen ganz bestimmt nochmal wieder.

Naturnah am Niederrhein

Die Unterkunft hat ein besonderes Flair - sieht man schon an den Bildern. Der Standort eignet sich sehr gut für Wanderungen, Radtouren und kurze Ausflüge mit dem Auto. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und kümmern sich um jedes Anliegen.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!!

Ein wunderschönes Reiseziel

Wir haben im Vorfeld nur Positives über die Unterkunft und die Gastgeber gelesen und können dies nur bestätigen. Wir sind sehr herzlich empfangen und bewirtet worden. Es war eine sehr erholsame Zeit! Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, zugewandt und unkompliziert, haben alle unsere Fragen beantwortet und uns mit Infos über die Gegend versorgt. Die Tabakscheune entsprach den Abbildungen und war für unsere Bedürfnisse bestens geeignet. Besonders genossen haben wir unsere Auszeiten im Garten.

Gunstig Gelegen

Goed ontvangen, en een mooi verblijf. Het was een beetje fris in de avond maar de kachel kon helaas niet aan, gelukkig een haard met hout , dus konden we toch verwarmen. Als we meer hout wilden konden we erom vragen. Dat we daar 10€ voor moesten betalen. Dat stond nergens vermeld of gezegd. Mooie sauna maar kost 30€ ivm energie prijzen. Logisch maar vermeld het in de advertentie dus geen gebruik van gemaakt. Bij vertrek moesten we zelf de bedden afhalen, apart. We misten een grotere bank is met met zijn 4e toch fijner als hele weekend op houten stoel te zitten Verder hebben wij het naar ons zin gehad met ons vrienden weekend. Tip, bied een ontbijt aan dat zou geweldig zijn bijvoorbeeld in een mand op afgesproken tijd. En onpersoonlijk alles via mail en sleutel door de deur.

Tolle Unterkunft mit sympathischen Gastgebern

Heerlijk huisje

We hebben genoten van het zeer schone huisje. Gezellig en met liefde ingericht. Lekker bed en de houtkachel werkt prima. In de omgeving kun je prachtige wandelingen maken. De eigenaars van het huisje zijn heel vriendelijk, zeer behulpzaam en zorgen tegelijkertijd dat je volop privacy hebt. Aanrader!

Sehr schöner Kurzurlaub in idyllischem Ambiente

Wir hatten das Vergnügen, in dieser liebevoll renovierten Ferienwohnung in einer alten Tabakscheune zu übernachten, und es war eine unvergessliche Erfahrung! Schon der erste Kontakt mit den Gastgebern war äußerst freundlich und informativ. Sie gaben uns großartige Tipps zu Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants in der Nähe, die unsere Reise bereicherten. Die Privatsphäre, die diese Scheune bietet, ist bemerkenswert. Der separate Eingang ermöglicht einen bequemen Zugang, und im Inneren erwartete uns ein modernes Badezimmer mit einer begehbaren Dusche. Der Hauptbereich ist ein echtes Juwel, mit zwei Emporen, auf denen die Betten stehen, und einer Betonküche, die sowohl funktional als auch bestens ausgestattet ist. Wir konnten problemlos mit vier Personen an einem Tisch essen und Spiele spielen. Wir hatten das Glück, gutes Wetter zu haben, und konnten morgens draußen Kaffee trinken und den atemberaubenden Sonnenaufgang genießen. Wenn wir wieder in diese Gegend reisen, werden wir definitiv hier übernachten. Dieses Zuhause fernab von zuhause hat uns begeistert und wird uns unvergessliche Erinnerungen bescheren.
