For such a large hotel it was very disappointing that we couldn’t get a barista coffee on any of the 6 days we were there. There was a machine. Either it was broken or they didn’t have staff to use it. The apologies for the inconvenience sign was vague. On our final morning there was only a continental breakfast. Once again a vague apology note.

The building is pretty good, rooms are nice and very comfortable. But the staff have attitude. There for 2 nights and pleased to leave. The restaurant was out of most things we wanted (including half the beers on the list, anything grilled, and the special of the day at the commencement of service). Unloved by the owners. It shows. Needs a good manager tgat cares about clients.

Older facility - everything looks a bit dated. Mini freezer door inside fridge kept falling off, shower water pressure is terrible, bins were missed during room servicing as was replacing toilet paper, lights (all centrally controlled) were flickering so we lived in the dark until they could get an electrician there, room had 2 remotes but only one remote controlled the two old systems. And during the night the AC would turn off an the room would get quite warm, then it would kick in and the room became freezing. The 2 bedroom house our friends were in was great, but our room in the hotel proper not so much. The best part was the helpful guy at reception and the young woman in the restaurant

Fabulous hotel in Kalgoorlie

Our room was one of the best hotel rooms we’ve stayed in. Spacious, clean, quite and comfortable. The kitchenette was ideal and the large bathroom well laid-out with plenty of space for both our toiletries. There was secure parking on-site and a restaurant. It was a 10 minute drive into town centre for shops and eateries.
