If I could give this condo more stars I would! This is probably the most well equipped VRBO that we have ever stayed in. The kitchen is well appointed with cookware, utensils, and dinnerware. The bathroom has nice thick bath towels, and washcloths with extra located in the closet. They also provide very nice beach/pool towels for your use. The condo is beautifully decorated with convenient cable and Wi-Fi available. The views from the balcony are spectacular and we spent many a morning and evening enjoying watching the surfers, whales and dolphins, paddlers, and the occasional cruise ship not to mention the absolutely spectacular sunsets. The heated pool was a rare treat and we always had the pool to ourselves at 8 AM. The walk into town for dinner, drinks and shopping was just a quick jaunt. It is easy to get in and out of two tour the rest of the island and we always had a covered parking space when we returned in the evening. Management was very communicative and quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely be coming back to this gem of a condo!

The highlight of this well-accommodated, clean condo is the lanai at the ocean's edge. We changed our busy itinerary to just sit and enjoy. We had questions during our stay and Knutson was very responsive. The condo is just a block's walk from restaurants and shopping of Kona. We didn't use the pool, but it looked lovely and had the ocean view as well. We will rebook this condo when we return to the Big Island!

Also, we could see a catamaran from the lanai each day and found out it was the Kona Style snorkel cruise heading for Captain Cook. We booked it! The kitchen is quite functional and well stocked. The bed is very comfortable. We ran the bedroom AC at night, which worked well; we didn't try to cool the entire unit - much nicer to listen to the waves. The only downside is that all of the pictures were removed by the former owner (except one, and I understand why they left that one behind.) There are nails and screws sticking out of the walls where the pictures used to be. It gave the impression of walking into a dorm room, though one with a great view!
