I rented this property for 4 nights, and halfway through I decided not to head to the other side of the island and wanted to extend my stay. I messaged the owner, and she was very accommodating, she worked with me to make it happen quickly and easily.The owner is wonderful, and the house was spotless. It’s perfect for two or three people, and the decor is exactly what you’d hope for in a Hawaiian home. We loved the artwork so much that we actually tracked down the local artist and bought a piece to take home!Check-in and check-out were super simple, and the location is great if you plan to explore the west side of the island. It’s close to the tourist area of Kona, with easy access to the beautiful South Kona beaches.Highly recommend for any couple (or small group) traveling who doesn’t want to spend a ton of money on a hotel or resort. 5/5 for us!

My stay

Unit was fine. Only issues: 1. The knob to turn on water in the shower needs to be fixed— it is almost corroded beyond use—2. Some Wd40 applied to the sliding doors to the decks would make them work more easily. 3. I did not like the centipede in the tub The directions to find the unit and get in were very goood— got in late and it was dark but had no trouble finding the unit or getting in
