Parking was the biggest challenge since there isn’t a designated spot as you basically have to compete for one, or else park on the street. The only thing I’d improve is the air conditioning as it could be quieter, more efficient, and a bit colder. Even running all day, it struggled to keep the unit cool.

My wife and I decided to stay over on the Big Island in Kailua Kona for a couple of days prior to meeting up with our "kids" and grandkids in Maui for a week-long stay there. We were looking for something that was simple, affordable, clean, had free parking and close to the waterfront and restaurants. We found all and more at this cozy studio! I especially appreciated it was on the ground level near the parking, which made it very easy to move our luggage from the car to the room and back. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was newly remodeled. The A/C cooled the room perfectly, and the small Lani off the back was so very pleasant for morning coffee. A very short walk to Huggo's on the Rocks and just a crawl to Island Lava Java for a delicious breakfast and tasty Bloody Mary. Would we stay there again? Absolutely!

Room was very clean and updated, property overall looks dated. Jacey was very responsive to all questions and helpful. Property is close to and walking distace to local activity and resturants. Parking is challenging after 7 pm in the units location. Overall would stay there again. Easy access.

Great little unit but ...

Squeaky clean except the bed sheets were full of Sand....lots of sand. Hoping the sheets were changed before we got there. Also (and this is mostly my fault), the photos looked like the bed was in a separate room. The listing clearly states it is a studio, however I would suggest some additional photos or language to clarify. There was also no coffee provided which would have been nice. Lovely property. Outstanding location.

Great Place to Stay

This location is centralized. You can walk to Coconut Grove and grab food to eat. Thankfully parking was included which is a hot commodity in Kona now. Glad I chose this location.
