Kailua Sands Getaway

Aloha! Come and stay with us in the wonderful beach town of Kailua! Please be respectful and read the ENTIRE listing and house rules before booking. Our newly remodeled house is located 1.5 blocks from beautiful Kailua beach. Kailua town offers great restaurants, bars, boutique shopping, and one of the best beaches in the world.

Your space for one person includes a full size bed with foam topper, ceiling fan & tour books. Enjoy the trade wind breezes and ceiling fans in every room. My dog might greet you when you arrive. This is an old house and we're continually updating as we go! I'm currently finishing up renovations and you might find parts of the house being fixed during your stay. Enjoy a discount vacation while I'm still finishing updating the house! New hot tub is ready to go. Your guest room is complete and comfortable so come book your Kailua vacation with us!

Bathroom is shared. Beach and bath towels, soap, shampoo, and conditioner here for use. Hot tub, table and chairs are in the back yard. Please no guest use of laundry or kitchen. Kailua is known for its great restaurants and there are several laundromats as well (guidemap provided on request). Please clean up after yourselves and help keep our living space tidy. All amenities are shared with the other housemates.

House rules:
No cooking of meals in the kitchen, meal prep OK. You may use cups, dishes, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven if you clean and put them away after use.

No smoking on the property. If you feel the need to smoke please walk to the beach.

Please wash sand and mud off before entering the house. A hose is located in the side yard behind the outdoor bathroom. Do not wash sand down any of the house drains.

You must shower, with soap, before entering the hot tub. Please wipe feet before entering the hot tub. If the hot tub is left in poor/dirty condition, a cleaning fee will be charged from the deposit. Hot tub hours 8 am-8pm

Do not dispose of any solids down the drain pipes. Please dispose of tampons in the bathroom trash can and used cooking oil should be placed in the can in the freezer. This is extremely important.

One person only, no overnight guests

Quiet Hours 9 pm - 6 am. If you come in late, please be quiet and respectful. Please respect the neighbors as this is a family, working class neighborhood and the houses are built very close to one another- noise transmits very easily.

Do not answer the door or allow anyone you don't know onto the property.

All doors and gates on the property are fitted with door stops/latches. Please either leave all doors open all the way and connected to the stop or completely closed. Otherwise they will slam in the wind. You are responsible for damage caused to the home.

Do not use my personal belongings including bicycle, kayak, cooking utensils, beard trimmer, toothbrush, laundry

Please drive slowly through the alley. There are children and pets present. Do not drink and drive. Do not drink in excess on the property.

By making a reservation you hereby assume all risks of injury and property damage arising out of your presence on the property. You agree to release and hold harmless the property owners from any and all liability, loss, damage, expense, suits or claims arising out of your reservation. 30 days notice is required for termination of lease.
