No television, no dishwasher, no microwave in this off-the-grid rustic retreat overlooking Whangaroa Harbour. Privacy and birdsong are assured in a native bush setting. New and repurposed materials and rammed earth feature-walls characterise this imaginatively designed home.

Two free-standing bedrooms offer guests full privacy.

The living area and kitchen feature all-day sun and stunning views of the harbour. The kitchen is well equipped and the main bathroom has a unique copper-lined shower.
