Kaanapali Royal Corner Condo in the World's Most Romantic Destination

Maui was voted the world's most romantic destination per Travel + Leisure 2026. And they know what they're talking about! Our unit is perfect for couples or a family that wants enough space for Mom and Dad to still have a romantic room to call their own.

A short walk from world-famous Kaanapali Beach, Unit F-101 at Kaanapali Royal is a rare first-floor corner unit with direct lanai access, lush garden views, and everything you need already waiting for you — beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear, pickleball rackets, sand toys, and even a guitar for sunset strumming.
At over 1,500 square feet, this is one of the most spacious condos at Kaanapali Royal. Both bedrooms are ensuite with their own private patios. The master offers a king-sized teak bed; the second bedroom features a four-poster teak queen. The living room has two sofas (one sleeper) and opens through large sliding doors onto a tropical lanai with a tamarind dining table for six — perfect for morning coffee, happy hour, or watching the palms sway and enjoying the balmy evenings..
You're 40 feet from the pool, jacuzzi, and BBQ area. Pickleball courts are on-site. Kaanapali Beach, Whalers Village shopping and dining — including Monkeypod Kitchen, Leilani's on the Beach, and Hula Grill — are 12 minutes on foot.
What's waiting for you:

— Beach chairs, boogie boards, wagon & sand toys

— Snorkeling gear

— 4 tennis rackets & 4 pickleball rackets

— Basketball

— Acoustic guitar

— Beach towels & organic bamboo sheets

— Well-equipped kitchen stocked with the basics

— China and casual plastic ware (vacation your way)
The space:

The large sliding doors connect the living room and lanai into one seamless indoor-outdoor space — the heart of the unit. It's quiet, private, and surrounded by tropical landscaping. Being a corner unit on the first floor means no stairs, easy pool access, and the kind of peaceful setting that makes Maui feel like Maui.
Good to know:

Kaanapali Royal charges a flat $154 parking fee per vehicle per stay, paid directly to the complex. This is not included in VRBO fees and applies whether your stay is 5 nights or 20.
All VRBO listing prices include all host fees — no surprises.

Loved having a full-size home to stay in while visiting the island - much more comfortable and spacious than a hotel room. We could stay in and cook or go out if we wanted. The hot tub was enjoyable in the evenings to wind down. The view was beautiful - you could see the ocean from the pool area. Doing laundry was right there - you didn't have to go anywhere. We enjoyed the patio for evening dinners and morning coffee.

Great location and great place to stay!

My wife and her three kids stayed here for a week. We love the location because it’s close enough to walk to the beach but a little removed from the busyness down by the water. The unit was clean and well stocked with beach towels, kitchen items, etc.

Kelly was an amazing host. The hot water heater wasn't working properly; she responded right away and had someone out that day to fix it. Same when the A/C went out, which turned out to be the fault of the condo and not her home. The home was comfortable and the kitchen was adequately stocked (I cooked something almost every day). Kelly provided loads of beach and bath towels, and the beach chairs were most appreciated.

Awesome location!

Our family stayed at this home and we loved it! I had my 2 year old son and he loved having the pool and front lawn to play in! And we enjoyed having the pickle ball court to play in! We felt like we were immersed in the Hawaiian culture by staying in a condo vs a hotel/resort! We loved how we were close to most of the excursions that we went to and close to the Ka’anapali beach as well! We would stay here again!

Great home base

This is a fabulous property with excellent owner/managers. Communication was quick and helpful. The property was well cared for, with excellent amenities and in a great location. While not on the beach, access to Kaanapali beach was a breeze once you know where to look for the free beach parking at the resort lots.

Excellent Condo!

We stayed in this unit while visiting Maui and had an excellent experience! The condo was well stocked with whatever we needed from cooking to cleaning supplies! In addition, it makes a great condo for people with children because it’s located right on the main level with excellent access to the pool. It’s well laid out and has enough room to easily fit 4 adults and 3 children from what we experienced. Overall, we’d definitely stay here again if we’re in Maui!
