Amazing Stay at Headwaters
We loved our stay at Headwaters. The property is amazing and the container home concept blended beautifully with the surroundings. Communication with the host was easy and they were very thorough explaining everything that we needed to know before and during our stay. We definitely recommend this property to anyone that wants to escape the city noise and truly connect with nature.

Thanks, Headwaters!
Really magical two night stay in a retreat across from the park. Plenty of birds and river life on site to watch. Home is well stocked with everything you need to enjoy the experience and grocery and backup restaurants are nearby. Location is great. In the woods but civilization is nearby if you need it.

Extremely Poor Air Quality-Moisture and Mildew
We were looking forward to staying at this unique place Easter weekend to visit with family that changed the moment we walked in the door. It all started when my husband walked in and walked out of the house coughing. The smell was intense and the use of a dirty air cleaner circulated the bad air. The use of diffusers to mask the smell only exacerbated it. It was evident they were aware and we’re trying to hide it. It was awful. As we searched for what was causing the irritation to all of us, including a toddler, we found all of the wall ac units dirty and moldy, we also found moisture bags filled with black moisture aka mold, and DampRid containers filled with water/mold. There were no screens in any of the windows so airing it out was not an option. We reached out to VRBO immediately and was told we’d get a response in 24-48 hours, it has now been almost 2-weeks of silence. Suffice to say we could not stay there. This was our first and last time we will plan to stay at any VRBO property as we cannot trust that VRBO vets the locations. Just as consumers we promise to take care of the property, the owners should provide a clean and safe place to stay, which includes clean air to breathe. Lesson learned.

Excellent Concept and Location Needs a Little Improvement on the Execution
Beautiful and private location. Unique concept with the repurposed shipping containers. It's pet friendly which is rare and a huge plus. Everyone we interacted with, from the owner to the property manager, was friendly and accommodating. This place would be perfect if I was going to meet up with my buddies to go fishing in Jupiter or paddle the Loxahatchee and hang out in nature and drink a few beers. It wasn't the best fit though for my pregnant wife and her nearly 80 year old parents though -a little too rough and rustic. That said we made it work and enjoyed our time.

Glamping at its Best
Spectacular property, great accommodations, unbelievably wonderful host and support. Rick and his team made us feel super welcome. His vegetable garden that is guest accessible is awesome. The tranquility of the property, the access to JOC and just the overall beauty and peacefulness allows you to unwind, laugh and just enjoy nature and your family.
