During these concerning times, Luna Seas can offer social distancing at it’s finest. No one will meet you upon your arrival, as there is a lock box with a code containing the key. Choose to self isolate on your small piece of West Coast paradise or choose to explore the wild beaches and forests that Sooke and the surrounding areas are known for.

South facing waterfront on a private .5 acre. An unobstructed view of the Juan de Fuca strait and the Olympic mountains. Wild life abounds, with possible daily sightings of orca, seals, sea lions, otters, eagles and many more.

A jetted hot tub to take in the amazing views, the hardest choice is whether to soak with a East, South or West view.

Beautiful world renowned wilderness in close proximity, but only 7 minutes to restaurants, banks, grocery stores etc., and only 30 minutes to big box stores in Langford.

The features of the cabin are, 15' ceilings with many windows to maximize the view. A fully stocked kitchen with bar fridge, microwave, toaster oven, induction hot plate and propane barbecue. All you need to bring is your food.

Hot tub jets not functioning so we did not use it. Would have appreciated some heat run before we got there. Those baseboard heaters take forever. We wore our coats most of the first day. No reading lights for the bed or chairs. The kitchen was more limited than expected, with the singleburner stove top. Excellent view!! Quiet!

Cozy, private, well appointed place to stay if you need time to reflect. Great view, hot tub, and comfortable bed. To get into the cabin it is down the stairs shown in the pictures so if you have mobility issues keep that in consideration and pack light. I watched a sea lion make its daily trek back to its preferred nighttime beach from the hot tub while watching the sun go down. Good for one person or a couple who enjoy togetherness.

Our stay was wonderful. The pictures hardly do the views from the front porch justice. Best we’ve ever experienced. Bring binoculars! Happy we did and we were able to see whales and seals straight out in front of us in the Strait. The nearby hikes were also great as was the town of Sooke.

Best place ever!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was very private! No one bugged us at all and we were able to relax and recharge! We saw a whale right out front of our deck and many boats and cruise ships. We loved every minute of it and will be back again!

Amazing hidden gem

An incredible 4 days in the perfect spot. Cottage was perfect for the two of us. Loved every minute. After hours of hiking and exploring everyday we came back to our hot tub, comfiest bed and total serenity of just gazing at the Olympic mountain range 30 km across the strait. Will definitely be back.

The view is a 10/10 for sure. Saw lots of boats and wildlife. The furnishings are a little dated and the side-by-side arm chairs made it a little awkward to snuggle and enjoy the view. The hosts were very accommodating with a date change and the instructions provided were very helpful.

This was our second time staying here and it never gets old. Check in was super easy and communication with host was spot on. Cabin is exactly as described, the pictures do not do it justice. We enjoyed the scenery and being close to Sooke for anything we needed was great. Lots of activities close by ( hiking, bird watching, bike riding ) We will be back again!!

What beats time spent on a bluff at Otter Point? Not much! Amazing views from inside and outside the cabin. We spent a fair bit of time on the bluff watching wildlife and weather systems approaching over the water.Cabin is well planned and comfortable. We will for sure be back!

Weekend Getaway on the Island

We had a wonderful stay at Luna Sea. The cabin is in a beautiful location, easy to get to from town, and well appointed for two inside. We saw all manner of wildlife right off the front porch, tons of sea birds and eagles, seals and sea lions, and even a pod of 4-5 orcas! The hottub was also a real highlight, soaking under the stars at night, or while looking out across the straight in the morning is just wonderful!Check in/out was a breeze, hosts we're quick to respond to our questions and everything was right where it was supposed to be!We're definitely going to remember this amazing getaway, and certainly plan to return!
