Beautiful home - communication terrible

When we got to the house we had to call the host because he hadn't given us the right code to get into the house. I contacted him 4 different times in the next two days and we never heard from him at all. We had trouble with the hot and cold water in the showers. We also contacted him about some green bottles that we left and have not heard a thing from him. The house was very nice except from the broken blinds and the hole in the hammock. I have never had such poor communication with a VRBO host.

Dirty, No Hot Water, and Moldy House

Don’t BOOK! This place isn’t anything like the pictures they show. 1st off we were given the wrong address, then the wrong code for the lock box. The place was dirty. Dead flies on the floor in dining room. Hair on floor in bathroom. Sunflower seeds in bedroom. I messaged the host. No response. Later that night our daughter went to shower and we let the water run for 5 min and still no hot water. Went to other bathroom let that one run and got hot water. Went to throw our clothes in the washer and the washer was filled with grime and dirt and old caked on liquid softener. We go to use the shower in the main bedroom in the morning and same thing NO HOT water even after letting it run as stated to do so in email. Only 1 bathroom out of 3 had running Hot water. I messaged the host again no response. Then I get a response stating that they hope we had a great 5 star night. NO! We didn’t. I messaged back asking if they got our message that I sent stating we didn’t have HOT water. Host responded and said they did get message and that they were working on it. We go out for the day come back. Still NO HOT water and nothing from the HOST. We had no other choice but to call company to help us contact the HOST. They also couldn’t get ahold of them. We did send in a few photos to show them how run down this place was. The mini blinds in living room and dining area broken, to the dead flies and food on floor to the shredded hammock in the front yard. Also MOLD In the bedroom closet.
