You are invited into a realm where time slows, and tranquility takes center stage. Amidst the dance of desert flora, delicate stardust whispers fill the air, creating a magical ambiance that transcends ordinary existence.

A true desert escape, this hidden retreat on over one acre filled with a lush cacti garden in Joshua Tree.
This lovingly curated homestead is the perfect getaway to relax and recharge.

The space
Stardust Hideaway offers accommodations for up to 8 people and is located off of a paved road with total privacy and seclusion.
The spacious master bedroom has a brand new pillow top king size mattress and its own en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom features a queen size tempurpedic foam top mattress, and the third bedroom includes a double bed. And in the living room, we have a brand new Joybird sofa bed.

In the kitchen you'll find local coffee and tea provided as well as filtered water, spices, pots, pans, cutlery, bakeware and everything you need for your stay. We have both a french press and a traditional coffee maker, microwave, toaster and blender as well. Our kitchen features a retro slim refrigerator but we also have a backup, standard size refrigerator in the garage should you need additional space for your groceries. Enjoy your meal in the sun-drenched dining room overlooking the cactus garden or outside at the picnic table.

On the grounds you can walk through the various garden paths which boast a variety of native desert plants and other species including our 15 foot Saguaro and very mature Joshua Tree.

Get a fire going in the wood burning fireplace and listen to a record from our curated selection on the retro record player. You'll also find an assortment of boardgames, cards and puzzles to keep everyone entertained. The brand new 65" TV is equipped with your favorite streaming platforms like Netflix, Hulu, HBOmax, and Disney+.

The Solarium also features an extra large new saltwater hot tub (accommodates up to 8 people max) a horseshoe pit, and an outdoor gas fire pit with enough seating for everyone. And to maximize your comfort on warm summer days and cold winter nights, the house is equipped with a new heating and cooling system which keeps a comfortable interior temperature.

For families with little ones, we have a pack-and-play and a high chair located in the closet of the queen bedroom. Also, our entire property is completely fenced in to keep your kiddos and your pups safe.

The Solarium is located in the desirable area of Hidden Valley in North Joshua Tree and is just a 10 minute drive to the Joshua Tree National Park entrance, and a short 7 minute drive to downtown area in Joshua Tree village with its restaurants and shops.

PLEASE NOTE: We provide propane for the BBQ grill and the outdoor fire pit.
We do not provide firewood for the indoor fireplace. You can pick up wood at Home Depot on your way into town!

SAFETY: We are in a desert wilderness area and we do not always have control over nature. Please be careful of creatures and cactus and take care of the landscape. You may see a few jackrabbits, roadrunners, coyotes, cactus wrens, and even quail! Do not leave food unattended outside or inside although the critters will enjoy the free feast!

BRING YOUR PUPS! An additional $75 non-refundable deposit for pets is required.

MAXIMUM OF 8 PEOPLE - Additional fee after 6 guests of $100 PER night PER guest. If a guest exceeds the maximum of 8 guests during the stay guest will be charged an additional fee of $150/per additional person per night.
