Immersed in the Mediterranean scrub on a ridge overlooking the sea, Villa Cesare is a very particular home, unique in its kind, not only very well cared for and comfortable, but refined and specially built with ancient methods and with eco-compatible materials, respecting of the environment and the peasant architectural tradition
The house was built with the use of eco-compatible materials, with almost total absence of plastic and derivatives. Its structure, totally in stone, is inserted in a unique natural context, the villa is spread over one level, and has a large well-equipped lounge with TV, sofas, fireplace and dining table, from the lounge you can enjoy a spectacular sea view, while the built-in kitchenette with oven and dishwasher is very functional, it has three double bedrooms convertible into single beds and two bathrooms with shower.
The villa is well furnished, from over one hundred years of terracotta to numerous details in solid wood, as well as the bathrooms and the kitchen are embellished with artistic ceramics from Vietri.
All facing the sea enjoys a spectacular view, which goes from Sicily to the Aeolian Islands, the deliberately Mediterranean garden, is equipped with tables, chairs and deck chairs. In addition there is a barbecue area with a traditional wood-burning oven.

For bookings longer than 7 nights, if guests wish, a weekly cleaning can be requested with an additional extra cost of 50 euros to be paid in cash.
The vacation home is heated and features a kitchen and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms. The bathroom offers hair dryers and bidets. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker. Housekeeping is available on request.

A Small Piece of Paradise

This is a gorgeous home on the cliffs overlooking Stromboli and Sicily. Cesare the host is kindness personified and took excellent care of us.This house can serve as a refuge from the cares of the world or as a base to explore Tropea and numerous other coastal towns and villages.In summary, an exceptional property with a wonderful host. Very highly recommended.

Great place to enjoy the view and isolate

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Cesare, and recommend it. The place has great views, is spacious and comfortable, and is appointed with good taste. The pictures well reflect the house, which is modern and fully functional. As Italians, we enjoyed the cooking facilities and utensils. The BBQ and oven were built with skillful ability, and work prefectly. Cesare and his daugher Lorenza have been discreet and very warm hosts, it has been a pleasure interacting with them. They pampered us with small attentions, and were on call when needed: they even bought us a new iron within a few hours. The internet connection (which past guests found inadequate) has been upholstered and is stable and adequate (I could have good video calls with the office). Reaching the house requires a half km of unpaved (and at some points steep) terrain, but it does not require a 4WD car - we have a standard hatchback. The one thing we missed is direct access to the sea, which would make the place outstanding. There are some neighbors to the right of the house, but also in mid August the place did not lose it tranquil, peaceful, inspiring allure.

Wir waren 2025, leider nur für eine Woche, bei Cesare zu Gast. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Betten sind super bequem und da oben am Berg weht immer ein Wind, so dass man Hitze richtig entspannt aushalten kann. Und der Ausblick... der hat uns jeden Abend sprachlos gemacht...Cesare ist so ein lieber Mensch und ein richtig toller Gastgeber! Wir hatten eine fertig eingerichtete Küche, leckere Cipolla, Aglio e Oglio und einen riesigen Kühlschrank zur Verfügung. Besser geht es nicht. Das Meer ist 4 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt und der Strand ist zwar klein, aber idyllisch und ohne Touris. Nette Bar mit Restaurant direkt am Meer. Kein Tourismus Kram, nur echt italienisch at its best. Wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder und freuen uns jetzt schon! Grüße an Cesare und Francesca Eure Jutta und Familie

Ein traumhafter Urlaub

Vielen Dank Ceare und Lorenza für dieses wunderschöne Haus mit traumhaften Ausblick und die nette Betreuung. Es gab Olivenöl, Zitronen und Cipole aus eigener Herstellung. Die Alleinlage und der Ausblick waren atemberaubend,die Anfahrt über den Weg abenteuerlich;-)) Aber daher hatten wir diese wunderbare Alleinlage. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und hochwertig ausgestattet. Maßeinbauten aus Olivenholz haben jeden Zentimeter sinnvoll genutzt. Dzu dieser Ausblick!Stromboli, Ätna, Sizilien und die Straße von Messina hatten wir immer im Blick, dazu Delphine und viele Boote. Die schönen Strände am Capo Vaticano waren nicht weit und in Santa Maria haben wir hervorragend gegessen. Ausflüge nach Scilla und Pizzo sind unbedingt zu empfehlen.Wir waren sicher nicht zum letzten mal dort. Hier haben wir noch ursprüngliches Italien gefunden!

Wunderbares Haus in 1a Lage

Wir hatten 1 Woche Urlaub mit 4 Personen in der Villa Cesare verbracht. Das Haus ist hochwertig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es gibt reichlich Gläser, Besteck und Küchenutensilien.Die Betten, der Waschtisch und die Türen sind aus Olivenholz und vermitteln ein richtiges Urlaubsfeeling.Der Außenbereich ist großzügig mit Sitzgelegenheiten und 3 Liegestühlen ausgestattet. Die Sicht auf Sizilien und die Liparischen Inseln ist bei schönem Wetter atemberaubend.Lediglich die Zufahrt zur Villa ist über einen Feldweg, der mit unserem Fiat Panda aber problemlos zu bewältigen war.Alles in allem ein toller Urlaub!!

Wonderful house overlooking the sea

The house is beautifully and quietly situated between cacti and rocks, surrounded by greenery, on the cliffs above the sea. Ocean liners pass by in the distance. On a clear evening you can see Stromboli at sunset. It is only 15-30 minutes to the beautiful beaches of Spiaggia di Coccorino, Spiaggia dei Torre Marino, Spiaggia di Riaci for swimming, snorkelling and boat trips or to the nearest restaurants and supermarkets. The towns of Tropea, Scilla and Messina are well worth a visit and are within easy reach. Villa Cesare has everything you need and more. Everything is as described. We really liked the house, with its shutters that keep the heat out over the day and the fly screens for a peaceful sleep with the windows open at night. The kitchen is great and really well equipped with everything you need. Outside there are lots of fresh herbs, chillies and the famous onions. We especially enjoyed the absolute peace and quiet, the nature and the view of the sea as far as Sicily. Cesare took great care of us, spoiling us with his warmth, freshly picked tomatoes and homemade salami. Many thanks also to Lorenza who was always available on whatsapp for any questions and details about our arrival and departure and our stay. Thank you for two wonderful weeks in the sun and sea of Calabria.

Une expérience exceptionnelle

La maison de Cesare est tout à son image : le sourire et la dolce vita de l'Italie du sud. Surplombant la mer avec une vue à 180°, la maison, entièrement conçue par Cesare, est un trésor d'architecture avec ses espaces généreux et son mobilier en bois d'olivier. Le confort est exemplaire et les équipements sont au complet. Une mention particulière pour la qualité des moustiquaires qui permettent de vivre portes et fenêtres ouvertes. Les espaces extérieurs sont plein de charme et vous y trouverez même les oignons, le basilic, les piments et le romarin pour votre cuisine. Chaises longues, parasol XXL, barbecue et four à pizza, rien ne manque pour sublimer l'incroyable vue sur le Capo Vaticano et le coucher du soleil sur le volcan Stromboli. Nous avons même pu voir l'Etna certains jours. En bref, il n'y a pas assez d'étoiles pour noter cette maison. Merci encore Cesare !

Extraordinaire maison près de Capo Vaticano en Calabre

C’est un endroit merveilleux, unique, avec une vue extraordinaire dont on ne se lasse pas . Chaque soir le coucher de soleil sur la mer prend des couleurs différentes et nous pouvons l’admirer tranquillement depuis le jardin / terrasse qui entoure la maison. La maison a beacoup de charme, très bien équipée. L’accueil de Cesare est très chaleureux. Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse à visiter les environs mais toujours pressés de retrouver la maison au calme. Nous partons à regret…Vous pouvez reserver sans hésiter.

Un magnifique havre de paix

La maison de César est en bout de route, très calme en haut d une falaise avec une vue magnifique sur la mer, le Stromboli, la Sicile et par temps clair l Etna. Très bien équipée et facile a aérer grâce à ses moustiquaires. Jardin et terrasse a l' ombre des oliviers et eucalyptus. César est de bon conseils pour les activités et toute la famille respire la gentillesse. Un très bon séjour en famille.

Ort zur Entschleunigung

Das Haus lag auf einem Felssprung, total einsam gelegen die Fischerboote konnte man beobachten, Etna und Stromboli immer in Sichtweite, die Sonnenuntergänge sind nicht zu übertreffen. Das Haus war liebevoll eingerichtet, als ob es privat genutzt wird. Internet war für kurze Zeiten leider immer wieder unterbrochen. In der Umgebung gab es viel zu besichtigen (Achtung stets lange Anfahrtswege). Cesare ist ein total herzlicher Gastgeber, der trotz Sprachbarierre alles versucht sich auszutauschen und zu helfen. Ruhige Tage in Kalabrien

Wir sind früh aufgestanden, aus einem gut eingerichteten Haus gegangen und haben meist Sizilien und manchmal den rauchenden Stromboli gesehen von einem eigenen Plateau auf den Klippen. Selbst über Weihnachten konnte ich 2 mal eine kurze Hose tragen.... Kurzum: freundlicher Vermieter, schönes Haus mit atemberaubender Umgebung. Einfach zum Genießen

Wunderschöne Lage und Herzliche Gastgeber Cecare und Lorenza

Die Anfahrt ist abenteuerlich aber es lohnt sich. Die Lage ist wirklich sensationel. Das Haus liegt alleine am Ende des Weges. Daher höhrt man keine Motorengeräusche oder sonstigen Lärm. Es gibt nur Vogelgezwitscher, Grillen und Meeresrauschen, einfach herrlich. Erholung pur. Cesare ist ein herzlicher, lieber Gastgeber der uns mit selbstgemachten Köstlichkeiten überrascht hat. Auch die Kommunikation mit Lorenza war sehr gut und schnell. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Wundervoll, traumhaft, einfach perfekt!

Wir haben wunderschöne Tage in diesem ganz besonderen Haus verbringen dürfen! Der Ausblick war absolut unglaublich schön! Vom ersten Kaffee direkt über dem Meer und das letzte Glas Wein am Abend.. wir haben einfach jede Minute genossen.. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet und das reichlich.. genügend Handtücher, Geschirr, Gläser.. und überall Mückennetze.. alles sehr hochwertig.. es gibt einen Pizzaofen, den wir auch ausprobiert haben und die Pizza war super! Tatsächlich ist die Anfahrt etwas holprig und abenteuerlich, aber der Ausblick entschädigt für alles! Und unser Gastgeber Cesare war das I-Tüpfelchen! Vielen Dank lieber Cesare für die schöne Zeit!!

Ein Traum am Meer

Lage, Ausstattung und Sauberkeit der Villa Cesare sind sensationell. Bei klarer Sicht sieht man das letze Eck Kalabriens, die Strasse von Messina sowie die Äoliyschen Inseln inclusive des immer aktiven Stromboli mit unvergesslichen Sonnenunzergängen. Da das Haus am letzten Ende einer Privatstrasse liegt, ist die Anfahrt eine gewisse Herausforderung, aber, wie bei uns sogar mit einem Cabrio durchaus machbar; insbesondere nachts ist ein Navi empfehlenswert. Aufgrund der Lage des Hauses ist ein direkter Meerzugang nicht möglich, gleich in der Nähe befindet sich jedoch ein kleiner Strand, der vorwiegend von Einheimischen besucht wird. Die (auch zu "googelnden") bekannten Strände in Capo Vaticano oder auch Tropea waren zumindest jetzt ziemlich überlaufen. Der Besitzer und Gastgeber Cesare ist überaus freundlich, zuvorkommend und bemüht ("wenn irgendwas ist, oder irgendwas braucht, ruft mich an...egal wann, auch mitten in der Nacht) , so dass sogar nach einer Woche der Abschied schwer fiel. Aber wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. PS: übrigens auch WiFi funktioniert einwandfrei. Grazie mille, Cesare, a presto! H&C
