The breakfast from 6am - 9am is wonderful. And, the beds are very comfortable...but buyer beware...they are FULL size beds (not queens). The room had been remodeled with the exception of the shower. It had rust stains on the door and was shaped like a pod from Star Trek. I wanted to shower, but couldn’t get past how old and dirty looking it was. The staff was super nice. All in all, I think we got what we paid for.
We didn't end up staying. 1st room had a brown recluse spider crawling up the wall by the light switch. The wonderful lady at the front desk moved us to room number 2 where the A.C. unit didn't work. Moved again to room 3 where the A.C. was blowing full blast set at 64°, it had a very strong order along the lines of a smoking room and had to be 80°+ in there. Several other guests seemed to be having TV issues as well. Front desk employee was very kind, the rooms need maintenance and a good exterminator.
We had a nice night in Joplin on our way home from, Arizona. The room was fine, the bed comfortable and the shower just perfect. Great place to stay on the road. Also, the breakfast was delicious and plenty of food was available.
I guess first off I have to say that the hotel room was great and everything was good. and the stay was good but due to the issues that came about my wife and children had to stay in a hotel room for a long period of time and at that point nothing could be done. she tried to talk to the manager and try to work something out but manager throw them out and would not do anything even thou room was paid for. no happy with the way things worked out. not happy with management . wont be staying at this hotel again .
Clean, comfortable stay. Shower only, but it was large with grab bars. We had one queen bed, and the space was adequate, but not spacious. You get 20% off your bill at the Iron Skillet, which is within walking distance, and had good food, and a large convenience/ gift store. The hot breakfast in the morning at the hotel was very good. The staff were nice. Everything was clean. Some traffic noise from the freeway, but all in all a comfortable stay.
Friendly people with easy check-in. Big rooms with king size bed. Linens looked clean..Good breakfast, hot or cold, buffett style. Next door to Iron Skillet restaurant. At exit with truck stop behind.
Nice place, friendly professional people. Spacious breakfast area & good breakfast. Pet friendly. Nice walk in shower. Huge truck stop right next door with set down restaurant, Taco Bell & Subway. No truck or highway noise.
I travel for a living and collect points on choicehotels, so when I work in Joplin I have a choice between Comfort Inn, Quality Inn, Econolodge, and Sleep Inn. Nowadays I always stay at Sleep Inn, because it’s the nicest of the four. Simple as that. I could actually stay at almost any hotel in Joplin, and I think Sleep Inn is perfect, no need to spend extra $$$ just to stay in luxury.
My family and I are travelling and stopped at the truck stop next door. I knew immediately the sleep inn would be the place to go ! Plus it's conveniently right next to the truck stop and restaurant. This sleep inn looks like it had a recent brand upgrade in the interior and the rooms. It's really nice ! The bed cover on bed was so pretty ! We opted for a single king suite with separate living room area with pull out couch. Very reasonable pricing and they give a CDL discount ! Pool area was very clean and my daughter enjoyed swimming after we got in. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Choice hotels are always amazing !
Staff was fantastic to my parents on the trip they were on for a wedding and a memorial service. Everyone from the GM to desk staff were awesome. Anticipatory service, a desk agent even came in on an off day to bring a huge coloring book for my nephew.
