This motel is in a really good location off of the freeway for weary travelers and my room was a clean room. It is literally steps from restaurants that run the gamut from mid-level dining to a family style burger and breakfast joint, and a national coffeehouse chain for the french pastry-espresso/latte lover. Of course your fast food franchise stores are within arms reach. It is, however, in desperate need of updating and the television was far too complicated to figure out. This motel is one that the nineteen eighties left behind. Amazingly, they did offer free WiFi. Thankfully I had my tablet and my work to keep me occupied in the room.

Cheap good value to get rest when you r driving and passing by.

The diner next door is awesome. Hotel is right off main road and easy access to interstate. Check out the vineyards a short drive away.

I was pleasantly surprised. The room was immaculate. The bed was comfortable, though not luxurious - but I didn't expect it to be. The bathroom and bed linens were basic stuff, but very decent and in good condition, not frayed. Carpeting looked to be new, the room furnishings were in decent shape. I was freaked out by the lack of a security bolt on the door, but the dead bolt only locks and unlocks from the inside, so that's ok. I made sure the windows were locked- they were. The room stunk to high heaven when I opened the door, but I opened a window and turned on the air and it freshened up very fast. After an hour the smell was not an issue. In fact, I went out for an hour and came back - no smell, so it's not as if I had gotten used to it, the smell was gone once I aired it out. The staff was the usual Indian foreigners, but very nice and eager to please. My only complaint is that the internet didn't work. Neither of my devices could connect even though they picked up the signal. The code they gave me just wasn't correct. All in all, a decent nights sleep for a cheap price. I was on the road and that was all I needed. I might have paid a few bucks more to stay someplace with internet, but for the price it was a great place if you are just looking for a night's sleep off of the turnpike. By the way, I was happy to see that the place didn't seem to attract low lifes and transients. Seemed to be just other nice people attracted by the low cost.

The bathroom was very small but did appear to be clean.

The room (including bathroom) was much cleaner than we expected, as the rate was bottom-dollar cheap. Absolutely nothing to complain about as far as cleanliness. Room was apparently a smoking room (there was a clean ashtray on the dresser), but it didn't have that horrible cigarette stink (we are non-smokers). Room temperature was comfortable and we never touched a thermostat (we were staying in mid-September), so can't comment on how well heater or AC works in very hot or cold weather. Also a nice surprise was an in-room refrigerator and microwave, along with free wi-fi. The location is not secluded, so if you cannot sleep with any traffic noise, you might want to look elsewhere. Although there was hardly any noticeable traffic at night, its still worth mentioning. However, if you're not bothered with sleeping "in town" its a great location, as there are quite a few dining options in the same block (excellent Mexican restaurant across the street). All rooms are accessible from outside (including outside staircases to second floor). Having said that, getting to your room if you have handicapped people in your party or if there's snow might pose a challenge, as the parking lot is very small, with only 1 way in and out, and apparently no extra parking spaces (during our stay there was no vacancy and no empty spaces). Check-in and check-out was simple and the people at the desk were very nice as well. Bottom line, if you're looking for a cheap, clean, no-frills place to lay your head, and you don't need any special accommodations, you can't beat the price.

Nothing fantastic, good place to crash for the night on tour.

This is a very basic motel, just a place to sleep. Linens and bathroom were clean.

This was basic motel fare with outside doors opening to street and gas station. Not the greatest location but we felt safe. Don't plan on much of a breakfast there. But we were given decent Orange Juice and a donut from a box. For one night and the $$ it was suitable.

Location was good, HD dealer across the street, many good restaurants within walking distance. Had mini-frig + microwave but no alarm clock. Carpets very dirty.

Wanting to break up the 10 hour drive to visit our daughter, a friend told us about Budget. It was just what we wanted: clean, friendly, and priced right. There was a microwave and small frig and we were impressed that the appliances were unplugged and the heat was not cranked when we got there - energy saving measures that we appreciated. We will stop again!

It was an inexpensive option for a quick stop over. Not the classiest place I've stayed by any stretch, but it served its purpose.

the hotel was okay for a place to sleep, which is all we used it for. the continental breakfast lacked choices.

I was satisfied with the room for the price. My wife said she had heard bad reports on TV about Budget Host regarding insects. It's not a Holiday Inn, but it doesn't cost as much either.
