Gute Ausgangslage für Ausflüge sowohl auf deutscher als auch tschechischer Seite. Karlsbad nicht mal 1 Stunde entfernt. Und abends macht man es sich in der Wohnung bequem.

Erlebnisreicher Urlaub trotz Nieselregens
Das Objekt war mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Eine Parkmöglichkeit vor dem Haus ist vorhanden. Zimmer und Einrichtung entsprach der Anzeige, einzig das ausgewiesene Internet war nicht vorhanden. Durch das gebirgige Gelände war auch der Handyempfang problematisch.
Die Wohnung war schön und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Alles war sauber und gepflegt. Für zwei Personen war es auch angenehm , in der Küche auch zu frühstücken.
Um am Abend eine Flasche Wein zu öffnen, musste man sich etwas einfallen lassen. Der Korkenzieher fehlt. Sonst gab es keine Beanstandungen.
Im Ort selbst gibt es zwei kleine Einkaufszentren (Netto; Rewe), mehrere Bäcker und Fleischer. Was will man mehr.
Man kann auch gut Essen gehen, es gibt zahlreiche Gaststätten, die es auch verstehen, einen Gast nicht nur zu sättigen, sondern das Ganze auch dekorativ zu servieren. Besonders empfehlenswert ist die Gaststätte am Pferdegöbel. Bei Wanderungen kommt man am Haus Henneberg, an der Schanzenbaude, an der Sauschwemme und anderen Einkehrmöglichkeiten vorbei.
Neben dem Besuch des Bergwerks und des Pferdegöbels selbst kann man auch längere und kürzere Wanderungen unternehmen.
Bei schönem Wetter sollte man unbedingt eine Wanderung zum Auersberg( zweithöchster Berg des Erzgebirges) unternehmen. Auch hier kann man gut Essen (Fr. Ruhetag).
Zu Fuß ist man auch recht schnell in Tschechien. Man kann aber auch mit dem Zug bequem nach Karlsbad fahren, dort bummeln und Essen gehen, auf den Berg fahren,...
Im Westerzgebirge selbst gibt es viele sehenwerte Ziele: Schneeberg, Schwarzenberg, Morgenröthe-Rautenkranz, Annaberg-Buchholz,...
Die Touristinformation steht mit Rat und Tat zur Seite.
Bei Schnee findet man einen Hang mit Lift, so dass auch hier der Spass nicht zu kurz kommt.
