The staff were kind and helpful at every turn. Ngakane at the desk was welcoming and resourceful at every turn. Sipho and Kizito were amazing concierge. My go to hotel in J'burg.

Good hotel and across the road from Sandton City shopping complex and restaurants. Unfortunately the staff at the outlets are terrible. They chat amongst themselves, argue and spend the latter part of breakfast playing up staff meals rather than worrying about the guests.

Everything about our stay was good except for the breakfast service. The trainee chefs need constant guidance as they were overwhelmed in producing the egg service. It would be helpful if a senior chef guides them as the really messed up our order on the first morning. The bacon was a bit over cooked. Otherwise a generally good stay save for the above.

The hotel is both well located and service is excellent. From check in to housekeeping to meal preparation (lovely breakfast) to everything. My favorite Joberg hotel!

The hotel is a great place to stay as it is right outside the Gautrain station. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I checked out of the hotel at 7:30 in the morning and left my luggage at reception for later collection. When I reached my meeting I realised that I did not have my wallet. I concluded that the wallet was either in the room or the luggage. Upon my return at 16:30 I searched my luggage and found that the wallet was not there and that therefore meant that it was in the room. Housekeeping insisted that they didnt find my wallet, which is impossible. This is very disappointing that they hire staff members that are untrustworthy. Sure they said valuables are left at own risk but I expected better from this hotel.

We stayed for one night when stopping over through JNB. Location is great - just off the Gautrain. Close to Nelson Mandela Square where there is a big mall and restaurants. Personally, we preferred our stay in the Rosebank area (off the Guatrain a few stops from Sandton) as there were many more restaurants and bars and the area seemed more lively to us. The one thing that was annoying about the Radisson is that instead of just putting a hold on your credit card for potential room additionals, they actually charge your card (not fun with transaction fees!). When I checked out, I had to remind them to give me a refund. There was also some confusion as to whether I already paid for my room and would get the full deposit back. While it was all resolved, I would have preferred them to put a hold on credit cards like most hotels do instead of actually charging your card and reminding them to refund you for it.

The hotel staff was very nice and attentive. The location was great as it was directly across from the train station and a mall with many shops and restaurants. The view from the hotel balcony was really nice as well. Tours/excursions can also be arranged directly through the hotel staff. However, the best parts of the hotel has to be the breakfast buffet, bedding, pillows and the rain shower; awesome!
