Hotel room was filthy. Bathroom smelt like a NYC subway. I was disgusting and disappointed that this hotel had a decent rating on Orbitz. Save your money and go camping.
great location-great breakfast-great friday night meal-friendly staff
Great location - thin walls, noisy neighbors. Room next door was very loud and inconsiderate early in the morning.
Location is fantastic.across the street from king David. 5 min walk to Mamilla
Everyone was very pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent. Room was clean and comfortable. Will go back there when in Jerusalem again.
great location but free parking that is first come first serve, which is bizarre...i would rather pay and guarantee my spot ..also forgot to refill cold water in lobby on a hot summer weekend.....staff could use a refresher in customer service
Choose this hotel if you want a comfortable bed and clew room in an ideal location to visit Jerusalem. You are not choosing it for its amenities (none except breakfast). Pros: good, comfortable bed (not too soft, not too hard) and housekeeping gave me extra, softer pillow Good linens Great air conditioning Good towels Helpful guy named Tarek at front desk Clean Very good value for the money which is the reason to stay here. Cons: very poor shower pressure If you have a single room it is shoe-Box size Doubles are good size. Everyone in my group who was a single had the same experience. Not many TV stations but you're not going to Jerusalem to watch tv Bottom line: you pick it for location and value and you'll be very happy. If you can afford the King David and the like with ambiance as well as comfort - go there. Tip: have a drink at the YMCA next door. It's a lovely oasis.
We booked here because it was reasonably priced, in a great central location with good reviews, but the Eldan fell far short of expectations, and it wasn't even that cheap either. The room was tiny and the bathroom was tired and needed a significant update. There was only one staff person on duty at night so it took forever to check in and settle into the room. Worst complaint is that the wireless internet hardly worked. Breakfast was pretty good at least...
