The Prima Royal is located walking distance to the Dan hotel in a very "posh" neighborhood. Good restaurants are within walking distance as are high end shops. The hotel probably could use some updating but it is clean and provides an incredible complete buffet for breakfast. Front desk attendant was friendly and helpful and provided a map so we could walk around without getting lost. All in all, a good value for your money.
Rooms were small, but adequate. Conveniently located with restaurants nearby and the old city within walking distance. Breakfast buffet with abundant choices. Stayed as part of group tour; would consider staying there again.
This is the kind of hotel one is put in for a conference. That's why I was there. It is a decent hotel with a decent chain. Pluses: good location, easily walkable to the city center and near pleasant green spaces. There is a roof deck, which offers nice views. Breakfast is OK -- enormous heaps of everything, most looking a bit tired. Rooms are OK in terms of amenities but small, and (here comes the downside) could use some refurbishment: our safe didn't work, and the room was so cold that they brought a space heater. The hotel is modern and functional looking.
Excellent location for friends and family wanting to visit Jerusalema and be close to the centre of town but in a quiet area. Within easy reach of Ben Yehuda St, Old City and residential areas including Rechavia, Talbiyeh and the German Colony.
Wev'e been to this hotel several times. It's a European style boutique hotel. Perfect location near almost all Jerusalem's sites. Very clean. Great staff. Breakfast was good. It was better previously. Pillows were very thick and interrupted our sleep quality at this visit.
My family and I stayed at the Prima Royale for a few days while we were visiting family in Israel. The location could not be beat and the staff were very accommodating. We were treated like royalty. They provide a daily breakfast that includes everything you could ever want, from eggs to salads to pasta to baked goods and cereals.
We spent 6 days here and never had a problem. This is a great location, close to the shopping district and not far from the Jaffa Gate. We usually ate both breakfast and dinner at the hotel. The buffet was outstanding for both. The room was a little outdated and not much bigger than a large stateroom on a cruise ship. But that didn’t impact us much as we were up and out early each morning and didn’t get back until 7 in the evening. Would we stay here again: Certainly.
The hotel is located in the center of Jerusalem, very nice and clean, the food is good and the room is small but very comfortable,The hotel crew is very nice and hospitable...recommend for individuals and families!
Nice location travel in Jerusalem. Clean hotel and nice staff. Breakfast is very good with pianoplayer. The hotel is close to old city and Mamila mall. but it is in a nice área. The staff is very helpfull. we will be back.
We were booked at this hotel as part of a tour package. It is very much a budget hotel and was not at all what I wanted or expected, so I was terribly disappointed. The rooms are well-worn and the bathrooms in need of refurbishment. That said, the staff was very nice and helpful, the location is good and it isn't the hotel's fault that the tour operators made this selection.
