We stayed at the Prima for 7 nights and had a great experience. Rooms are simple but clean which was really important to us. The room was a bit warm as there is no option to turn on the air conditioning during the winter and we were there during a particularly warm week (70 degree days). However, the windows do open which was great. The beds were comfortable and the shower pressure was fantastic! The food was amazing! Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and so were the Shabbos meals. The front desk staff were very nice and anytime we needed something to our room (towels, tissues) our request was fulfilled immediately. The location of this hotel is awesome-near everything! Would definitely stay here again.

I am not a maven of Israeli hotels but I do know what service is all about. And when it comes to service Prima is A1. Any problem that arose the response was nearly instantaneous, to the point that I was startled at the speed my complaint or problem was addressed!! Ahmad at the front desk besides being one of the friendlies guys I have ever met had a great sense of humor and was more than helpful. Any request I had (and I had a ton because of a medical emergency we encountered) Ahmad tried his best to help. I really don't know what I would have done without Ahmad and his staff's assistance. Because of the aforesaid emergency our ten day visit was cut very short. So we are looking forward, please G-d , to our next stay at the Prima Palace in the near future.

Think twice about booking with this hotel! I was supposed to arrive at the hotel Sunday night, but my flight to Tel Aviv was cancelled, and the earliest flight i could re-book on was for Tuesday. I called the hotel to tell them that my flight was cancelled but they still charged me a no-show fee in the amount of the first night's stay when i could not possibly stay at the hotel because my flight was cancelled.

The food was the best that I’ve had thus far, the pillows/bed were very comfortable, and the bar was a fun vibe. The shower was warm, and the toilet flushed my large poop! Being in jerusalem was a great experience and this hotel made it that much better

We had a wonderful experience at the hotel. The staff was great and friendly especially those at the front desk. The breakfasts were plentiful and again the staff at breakfast were always in good spirit and helpful.

we had a terrible experience at this hotel. The bed was full of hair, the bathtub had hair in it. Takes 5 phonecalls and begging to get them to open the parking for you. our electornic key did not work and they didnt manage to fix it. The front desk is slow as they come. They charged my credit card for my relatives room when he asked to charge his.... In short a disaster. The good part of this hotel is that its very central and has a kosher breakfast.

This hotel is not far from the central markets and is near the light rail. The beds were spacious and comfortable. The hotel service was wonderful in making sure everything was arranged for us to get back to the airport for our return home. We were helped by Alawi, the same very polite young man who we met a year ago. I can highly recommend this hotel.

The room itself was small but clean. Would have preferred a double bed instead of 2 singles pushed together but the bed itself was comfortable. The hotel was very very well located and if this was the only consideration I would have given it a 5. Walking distance to the old city, 1 minute walk to the light rail to yad vashem or to the bus to the Israel Museum. The breakfast was ok. Although there was a variety at the breakfast buffet it was not always replenished when things were finished or not put out until there were lots of people in the dining room. It was great to have a cold water dispenser in the lobby. However probably the biggest disappointment was the lack of courtesy from the reception staff. There was never a smile or acknowledgement when walking past the desk and one time totally incorrect information was given when we asked for directions. When we checked out it was as if we were disrupting the receptionist.

Hotel not too far from city centre. Rooms small but reasonably well appointed. Breakfasts are basic at best. In normal circumstances this would be an ok hotel but this place was spoiled by the unhelpfulness of the reception team. They were very unhelpful as unfriendly throughout . Be aware also that this is a very orthodox hotel so don’t expect any services whatsoever during Sabbath. This is taken to extremes, I was trying to check out a room booking for an 83 year old disabled lady and they refused any help whatsoever. Really ?

The Prima Palace appears to be a well located (just off the Jaffa Road) upscale establishment that caters mostly to the very Orthodox. Breakfasts were extensive and yummy, room was very well appointed and comfortable, staff was quite helpful. TV and WiFi worked well. Safe in the room.
