The room was clean and well furnished although a bit small but was OK, the location is brilliant near synagogues and shops, within waking distance to orthodox Jewish neighbourhood and historical sites
The hotel rooms are very clean but quite small. The staff was very helpful and nice. When we asked to switched to 2 rooms closer to each other, the front desk immediately did it for us. It's situated in a very religious district. The morning of our departure was Shabbat, but the cafeteria staff provided breakfast especially for our family.
We have stayed in this very cozy and comfortable kosher hotel several times. Rooms are clean, large and comfortable. Great Israeli style breakfast buffet. Shabbat meals were abundant, delicious and plentiful. Centrally located. Walking distance to Huge Market Mahane Yehuda, Central Bus Station. A few minutes walk to the Kotel. As always, excellent. To be repeated soon.
The hotel is a very nice clean hotel. The courtyard in the front of the hotel was very nice as well. Breakfast was excellent. The rooms are not very big but they are comfortable. The staff is very courteous.
We stayed four nights here. Its a terrific location so close to the markets and on the tram line. But. The hotel has very limited facilities. The rooms are neat though small which was ok but despite requestinga double bed we hot two singles. Maybe this should have alerted us. We were here during Shabbat which meant nothing was provided for over 24 hours - no reception, rooms werent serviced, lifts were switched off, no food or drink available. Maybe thats the norm but we could have been informed in advance. And as the hotel charges the equivalent of a 4-5 star rate in Australia it should provide better than a 2-3 star service.
I have stayed twice at the Prima Palace, in successive visits to Jerusalem. The location is perfect for me, and the amenities - delicious breakfast, quiet environment (at least at night), comfortable rooms - make it very likely I will return next time.
The room was very very small. I was with my brother and it was suffocating to be. Great breakfast though. A lot of variety. The location is one of the best in Jerusalem. Close to the Center and to the religious neighborhood.
I really wanted to give a 5 stars review. And the reason was only Yossi the dining room waiter. His class and service was ten times higher than the hotel quality. He is a 5 star deluxe hotels waiter. But... unfortunately he is one of the few good things that I can say about this hotel the rest is between bad and worse. The breakfast buffet really poor. Not like other hotels around you really need to wait for someone notice you for asking and 20 minutes waiting for one!!! Sunnyside up egg.. one!! Yossi - again, save the day. The kitchen staff was rude as I ask for plain tuna. Again - yossi brought it in 2 minutes after noticed I was offended by the kitchen staff. I can understand the staff - they are only 2 workers... I can't understand the hotel standards. The room small.. dusty and a bit old. Good for an over night - not more!
While the hotel is not the most beautiful in Jerusalem, nevertheless the staff is of the finest quality. They work with you, the breakfasts are amazing at a fairly good price. The rooms are kept clean and neat. I love this hotel. I think you will, too.
I was there a few weeks ago The food is good and abundance The hotel is kosher (Glatt) and is located close to the ultra-Orthodox neighborhoods in Jerusalem (but also in the city center), and therefore, a lot of critics are the religious / haredi. Very clean
