Came in super early in the morning and was easy to check in even at 3am. Great service and very friendly people with lots of great suggestions on what to see and how to save money. The rooms are simple and very clean - SUPER value for their location. Breakfast is fresh and typical Israeli fare - loved it!

Many different religions, cultures, very exciting, tolerant, open, and inviting destination.

The hotel is at a great location, walking distance to most important attractions. Staff is very helpful and room is clean. Decent breakfast. Most importantly wifi works better than any other hotel I have been staying in Israel. I would stay here again.

The Palatin was walking distance to the Mahane Yehuda souk, an open market filled with treats. Likewise, I could easily walk to local shops near Jaffa Road, excellent restaurants, and the tram, heading both to the Old City (I walked to Jaffa Gate everyday, it was easy) and to the central bus station. This Hotel is an excellent choice.

Was greeted by the staff an hour before check in and they were incredibly accommodating. Helped carry up the bags to the room as they didn't have an elevator. Room was clean but pictures didn't reflect our rooms dimensions. Breakfast was small and bland - not as pictured, but a bonus for us. Place was quiet and a short distance from the light rail and good dining/bars. The staff really set this apart from other places... that and a great coffee machine!

We had such a terrific trip and experience at the Palatin Hotel. The staff are super friendly and helpful. It is in the heart of Jerusalem which is great for accessing mass transit and popular spots.

very old run down hotel good location great people but the facilities need to be totally redone no elevator dirty carpets evrything old

I have stayed here multiple times. Staff is friendly and helpful. Close to Old city and lots of restaurants , transportation etc.

The room was small, but pleasant. Too bad they dont have elevators. The breakfast was very good! Staff were friendly. Location is good. Overall I liked it!

When we arrived, Staff was very helpful. They offered to help us bring our bags up the stairs. We had breakfast on the balcony every morning, very nice to overlook the little circle that was busy but not crowded. Location was excellent close to old city and shopping. We would stay there again.

The location is great it is within walking distance of the old city and Yehuda Market. I did not need to use public transport. The room did not feel like a hotel room. The carpet was old and dirty as was everything else. There were fresh linens. The shower was so small that the curtain stuck to me during the shower. The staff was nice.

This pleasant and comfortable hotel is a GREAT choice. Why stay at such large hotels like the Dan Panorama when staying in such an ancient city like Jerusalem...This hotel is right by Jaffa Street, the modern and beautiful no car traffic street that resembles Paris's Champs-Elysees. The area has a lot of shopping and dining around, A LOT. Safe area, free hotel breakfast, friendly staff, not expensive.

Really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is very close to shopping, restaurants and tram. Room was clean and had air conditioning. Every morning I enjoyed the breakfast bar - various cereals, cream cheeses, good coffee and staff greeted me each day. Great price, too. It's a smaller hotel, which is what I like. I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel has a great location near the city center of Jerusalem and is only a moderate walk to the Old City.

Great location. We were not aware that it was two twelve step flights of stairs to get to the reception desk and another two flights up to our room. The hotel description did not mention that this hotel was a walk up.

A small nice hotel Hotel in a very convenient location, the tram stop Yafo Road is very close, connecting to the Central Bus Station and Mt. Herzel in the west and to the Old City and the north-east of the city. The old city is also within walking distance (1km to New Gate). Breakfast is very good, coffee and tea available all day for free. Staff is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately there is no elevator and only rooms #1-10 (2nd floor) are modernised, while rooms #11-26 (3rd and 4th floor) are in need of renovation, both because the outfit is already quite worn, but also because basic facilities are missing (e.g. no fridge). Overall given the fair price and the good location I can recommend the hotel!
