Stayed for 5 nights – 260 dollars for a standard double room (1person) Business trip and you expect to find the "basic stuff" in your room, no coffee or tea, no iron or iron board (you have to go to either the 20th or the 8th floor). No water bottles etc, you have to order a minibar kit with all sorts of things Key badge did not work from day 1, they promised to change the look after I had to take the lift down from the 16th floor four times one morning (security finally had to come and open my door) gave me key instead so could get in. Room was overlooking a construction site, no warnings on their homepage.. very noisy, you cannot leave your windows open. Will most likely take at least a year plus to complete. Fridge gave up around midnight Friday, sounded like it was about to explode. Unplugged it and informed the hotel, was replaced the same day with a water bottle. Arrived on a Friday night after Passover so I can understand that the they did not pay attention to cleaning etc but when i pointed out on Monday that my room was in desperate need of a vaccumcleaner they promised to take care of it, came back around 5.30 PM and my room had not been serviced at all. Next day they wake you to service your room, very early morning… not sure if they ever vacuumed the carpet in my room, could not really see any difference.. I was wearing slippers or my shoes on as I did not want to walk barefoot. Arrived Friday night after travelling for 11 hours, was told that nothing was open which was not a surprise as it was Friday, i was offered a salad to be delivered to my room. . What was a surprise is that I found a great place with excellent food less than 5 minutes away (by foot) from the hotel that was open Friday and Saturdays, there was also a supermarket that was open 24X7 not far from the hotel… Breakfast service was ok on some days, most days the staff was just walking around drinking coffee and snacking behind their corner screens. You had to find the water kettle yourself if you wanted hot water for your tea This morning I received an email in French asking me for my feedback following my stay. Don’t speak French, never have
This is an incredible hotel with incredible employees. My wife and I were there from 3/22/18 thru 3/27/18. On 3/23 I had to take my wife to the hospital, where she died the following day. The employees of this hotel could not do enough for me. They saw my grief and pain and went beyond the call of duty to insure my every need was taken care of me. They met me at the door when coming back from the hospital and sat and talked to me and made sure that I had something to eat. One of the Managers by the name Rajal, I hope I spelled this right, truly became a friend and took time out of his busy schedule to talk and help me in this time of need. Also, Ronit the customer relations manager and her assistant, Shelly helped me navigate through the issues of someone passing in a foreign country 7500 miles away from home. And at the end when it was time to say goodbye, they zeroed out any charges for the 2 day extension. This is one very classy hotel where they put the client first. Thank you for the compassion you showed me and my family and we are so blessed to have stayed there.
We stayed in the Leonardo Plaza Hotel for 6 nights while on our tour of the Holy Land. We were impressed with the hotel. The rooms were well appointed, quiet with very comfortable beds. The service was excellent. As a tour we ate daily at the hotel buffet. The food was excellent with lots of variety and great service. When we returned home to California we realized my wife had left some jewelry in our hotel room. We emailed the hotel and Ronit Elspur responded. Ronit found the jewelry and mailed it to us. We received it in a timely manner and all of it was accounted for. Ronit also kept in contact with us to make sure that jewelry arrived safely. We are grateful to Ronit for going above and beyond the call of duty. We loved visiting Israel and staying at this hotel was a highlight in a very busy tour schedule. We would love to stay here the next time we visit Jerusalem. Randy and Violet R.
I stay at the Leonardo about 4-5 times a year. (A Eisenmann) It's in a prime location in Jerusalem, the staff is always friendly and personal and takes the time to have a chat with you. Food by Chef Shalom Kadosh is marvellous. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

We stayed at this very comfortable hotel for three nights, I found the staff very pleasant and very helpful, especially the outdoor security guard and the very cheerful waiter who served us at breakfast. Internet service was very good in the room and the central location was very helpful. Several nice restaurants nearby and it was very nice to have a local supermarket just around the corner.
We stayed here for 5 days at the end of a tour and found this the best on the trip. Starting with a warm greeting, quick check in and using those computer algorithm managed elevators, our settling is was delightful. The room was modern, clean and a fine view overlooking Old City in the distance. The staff were helpful, and friendly and made our stay worth while. The breakfast buffet was comprehensive and appetizing although we had to wait dome time for coffee. The hotel is about 15 min walk from the wall of the Old City and 25 minutes from the Western Wall. Also close by is the Mehane Yahuda and the outdoor life and street cafes of modern Jerusalem. Make time to do this. Courteous service, good food and a great elevator system made this a wonderful place to chill after a busy day
