Very nice place with a homey feel. Staff are very friendly and willing to help. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends. My only comment would be on the bath towels, they could get newer ones. Room and bathroom were very clean and welcoming. We were able to walk to the old city, even late at night and felt very safe. We found nice local restaurants with Awesome food, even a little convenience store open late where we could buy snacks.

Beautifully preserved building, great staff

Great room, very clean, and pleasant traditionally appointed room. The bathroom is modern, with all the expected amenities. The beds were comfortable and in excellent shape. Some may find the lack of elevators challenging, but staff was extremely accommodating and would have offered any needed assistance. Very good choice restaurant, with friendly staff, and great food choices, as one would expect in the ME, very close to the Damascus Gate, and safety was not a concern. An excellent hotel choice which we will use again.

This was a great place for our visit to Jerusalem. On lively Nablus Road, very close to Damascus Gate and the souk, as well as Arab bus station and light rail. Hotel is very atmospheric, breakfast was great, and hotel staff were very helpful in planning our trip to bethlehem. Would definitely recommend it.

Easy accessibility to religious & historical sites and transportation. Hotel staff provided valuable resources & recommendations including personal experience. Great hospitality!

Up the steps begins the journey into local charm & walking access to historic/spiritual sites & transportation access to other cities. Located in East Jerusalem, Occupied Territory, completely safe to walk from The Garden Tomb (highlight of my Christian experience) thru Muslim area to Damacus Gate and beyond. Hospitable staff took time to make us coffee free of charge, guide our travels, & educate us about Israel. Restaurant on premise was being redone. Bathroom shower stalls require updating- small, moldy tile grout. Towel were clean but rough. Personally, in spite of these two areas would revisit.
