We stayed in a premier room number 37 which was clean and comfortable. We stayed for 4 nights and ate in the restaurant for 3 nights. The food was great - top marks to the chef. Thank you to all the staff on reception, behind the bar and waiting staff who were all lovely. Would highly recommend this hotel as a base to tour round the island. Bar area and restaurant are very pretty. Our only criticism is that St. Helier has changed so much with high rise flats and buildings obscuring the view. It has lost all its charm but the rest of the island is still pretty.

i booked a trip to celebrate my mums 70th birthday with my aunt. We had a superior triple room which i have to say was spacious and very clean and tidy. The staff were so friendly, especially Lizzie who helped organise trips, taxis etc for us. Breakfast was excellent and the evening meal we had was super. The hotel is about a ten minute walk from the centre of St Helier but a flat easy walk.

Just returned from our 3rd stay at this hotel. Stayed in Room 33. 5th-7th April 2018 Whenever we visit Jersey the Hampshire hotel seems to be our default hotel to stay. The reason for this we know that its reliable, friendly and helpful staff will look after us during our stay. Good size clean rooms, comfortable beds and facilities are all of a high standard and the hotels location is within a pleasant stroll to the city center. Its also an advantage to us that they have a car park as well for when you have a hire car to explore the island. We don't go out much to eat as there is plenty of choice on offer at breakfast and evening meal times and the quality is very good. The chef serves up some amazingly tasty food and I rather like his steaks but a full and varied menu is available to tempt most pallets. The breakfast consists of buffet style continental, full english, cereals, fruits, pastries and endless amounts of toast, coffee and tea, again to the same high standard as the evening' al a carte menu. So some of the team we met need to be mentioned: Lizzy (reception) for taking our booking at the last minute and putting up with us after a very stressful journey....sorry, Christopher (the boss) although he wasn't there this time he does have a good team around him, the chef, sorry we don't know your name but your food is as always brill!, and finally the two guys who look after the bar (one is from Madeira and the other is from Poland) , sorry guys we didn't get to know your names but hopefully you will remember us for the banter over the bar and the wife asking you loads of questions :) Outside surroundings are enclosed and free from public gaze. Nice size swimming pool (closed for winter), decking with tables and chairs. In summary; good value, clean, spacious and friendly and highly recommended.

Had a 2 night stay here that was arranged through third party. Stayed in St. Hellier before but first time at this hotel. Once we found it we were surprised how close it was to walk into the centre. Breakfast was nice buffet style breakfast. Bar area reminded me of staying in Spain (not the same weather unfortunately). Room was adequate and clean. However we found the room we had on the front of the hotel to be very noisy from passing traffic from just after 6am. It was also quite cold despite having the heating on. No heating at all in the ensuite shower room. Quite chilly this time of year. Would recommend requesting a room on rear of hotel for longer sleep in and heating in shower room

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights after Easter. The hotel is well situated to walk to the town centre and most of its pubs and restaurants as well as being on a popular bus route. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to all our needs. Room and bedding was crisp and clean. Only reason for one less star is because of the shower. Hose is off the bath tap with inconsistent temperature.

Rather came across this by accident & what a little gem it turned out to be. It is a little out of the way from the main part of town but an easy walk. It has no pretensions but is clean, tidy, well presented with comfortable rooms & very helpful staff. The owner, Christopher Robin (yes, really!) is a delightful chap who meets all the guests at breakfast & always happy to help. Don't expect a pool or gym but it won't fail to please.

Stayed for 2 nights. Family room which was large, comfortable, clean and quiet! Well located- 10 mins walk to centre of town. Hotel looks recently refurbished. Decent breakfast. Usual full English and buffet but nice waiter service and plenty of space in dining room. Staff very helpful and there at hand to accommodate any requests. Reasonably priced in comparison to other hotels. Would recommend.

Visited jersey for the first time for our friends 50th who lives there. The Hampshire hotel was very accommodating, our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were super helpful. Breakfast was lovely. My only niggle would be have the toaster out with the breakfast as each time we asked for toast we had almost finished eating before it came and one morning we didn't get it at all. But other than that we really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be visiting jersey in the summer and would happily choose this hotel again and recommend

Having never spent a New Year's Eve in a hotel before but having had remarkably unforgettable holidays at the Hampshire I was not disappointed with my choice of a venue to see out the old year. Chris Robin and his team of highly dedicated staff never fail to deliver professional and friendly service. The New Year's Eve buffet was excellent even for my awkward "dieting vegetarian" palate , lots of things to choose from a hot and cold buffet of well cooked and well presented food. The celebrations continued with a disco of a well chosen variety of music which everyone there enjoyed. Such is the dedication of the staff is that they joined in with the residents in bringing in the new year. Well done the Hampshire yet again !!

I’ve stayed here many times now and have always been impressed with the quality of the rooms, the friendly staff, the reasonable cost, but most of all I have just had the best steak in black pepper sauce I think I’ve ever had. Then they somehow managed to top this with a passion fruit creme brûlée, amazing! I’ll be back!!
