Perfect Honeymoon spot

Me and my wife had a wonderful time staying at the villas by the sea for our honeymoon. It’s the absolute best resort to be at to enjoy private time with ample resources and amenities. The only downside with our stay was that we could hear every single foot step taken by people above us. For the first few days there were children above us that ran from 6 am til almost midnight. Other than that it was a perfect stay.

Quick get away

I think for the price they could include more than one roll of toilet paper, salt and pepper, coffee filters. It was fine. I’ve stayed at better for the same price. The unit was clean which is awesome but nickel and dimming is kind of off putting. We will probably stay at the Westin the next time. Always a great experience there. A little more but it’s great!

Beautiful place

Loved this first floor unit with no stairs! Restaurant right across from unit. Easy access to beach and getting out bikes in and out. Gorgeous flat bike trails with this central location. Well stocked kitchen.

Couple getaway

This villa is overall nice and updated. Great location, comfortable bed and sofa. Is equipped for two people. Love that it is pet friendly. One downside was we lost heat one day. Maintenance was immediately sent and they corrected the issue. Another issue was our code for our door didn’t work. Thankfully we tested it before we went on a morning walk. Called the office and they let us use a current code. Our code never worked.

Perfect Long Getaway Location - Place fit our needs

This unit was all that we needed and the pictures are exactly what we found at this unit. Furniture and bedding were all nice. Kitchen was nice and they had a coffee pot and a k-cup machine. I do wish they would have had some filters for the coffee pot though. The only negative that I had about the unit was the water pressure in the shower was terrible. I'm not sure if they should get rid of the shower wand and get a shower head that would produce more pressure. But it was such a low flow. Location was great. Right across the Driftwood Bistro and a short walk to Driftwood Beach. Gave the unit 5 stars, even with the low pressure water in the shower. :-)

Nice Villa and neighborhood

The villa was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed walking the facility daily there was plenty to see and easy access to the ocean. The only thing we did not enjoy was the water quality and pressure in the villa. The water made my hair super dry and textured. The water pressure was not great as I had to hold the shower head to my head to wet it. The pool and gym were also nice.

Excellent beach get away

We had a lovely time visiting Jekyll for a long weekend. The condo was clean and quaint and it was perfect for my husband and I and our dog. Would definitely consider staying again!

Pet Friendly & Comfortable

Really enjoyed our stay in this condo. We did read other reviews and I brought a few light blankets but forgot a dish towel. Otherwise, we had everything we needed. Love the location of this condo within the resort because we had a nice grass area and playground right behind me and the Driftwood Bistro right across the parking lot. The resort itself is very pet friendly.

compact little condo

The condo was clean. We never figured how to use the Direct TV and the Roku remote only worked intermittently. Directions for how to use the TV and remotes would be helpful.. It would have been nice if there had been a map to the property, including a listing of all the amenities. It was not until we checked out that we discovered there are washers and dryers on site, a volley ball court , workout room etc. Other things that would have been nice to have would have been a blender, wine glasses, and a corkscrew. THe property is conveniently located to Driftwood Beach, and Hortons. Pond, both of which we enjoyed. The bike trails on Jekyll Island are excellent. We Certainly hope to return again!

Villas by the sea

We enjoyed our stay at the Villa by the Sea. The condo was well equipped for the most part. Thanks to a previous review, we knew to bring dish towels and cloths and napkins, but the paper towels and toilet paper supplied were adequate for our stay. The location by Driftwood Beach was great and we enjoyed being able to walk there regularly.

Villas by the Sea is a excellent location but accommodations #254 were not the best. No blankets you had to cover up with the very thin bedspread. No dish towels to wipe a dish with, no pizza cutter, or pan to put the pizza on. Could have been equipped with more things.

Relaxing on Jekyll Island & remote working too.

We loved our stay. The condo decor felt like a beach cottage. Everything was clean and fresh. When I had to work the WiFi was perfect. We felt at home, it was great.
