Property was nice. Extras like cookies, coffee, tea and wine were available upon arrival and were also nice touches. I appreciated the water bottles in the refrigerator, as well as a little tray on the bed with chocolates and instructions for Wi-Fi and so forth. Clean room and bathroom. Convenient location to what I needed. Owner was very nice. However, I had to walk through the cloud of cigarette smoke at the front door because the man running the check in was sitting on the porch smoking when I arrived. There was no other way to get into the building except to walk through it and I hated that. Barking dog late at night and early in the morning, that was disruptive to rest. Also, no way to control the AC from inside the room, and no way to lock the room from the inside except for the knob that had a flip type lock but there was not a lot to stop someone from the outside getting in, since only the knob locked and there wasn't even any kind of latch that closes higher up like what a hotel would have. Very weak shower with not much water pressure at all, and it took several minutes for it to turn just warm.No blinds on the windows, so especially the bathroom was an issue, because the curtain does not block the ability from someone being able to see straight through to the shower which has a clear glass door. It also meant a lot of light came in to the room early in the morning and you couldn't block out the street lights at night. Breakfast was disappointing compared to reviews
