Elegant residence of the Art Nouveau era, with its refined Neo Renaissance style and its facade reviewed in the XIXth century by a rich owner of the time, the Château du Logis which was also called La Canonnière is a unique domain.
Built on a set of medieval dwellings, the original construction dates from the 15th
Located in the Périgord vert near Nontron, 30 km from Angoulême (TGV station), 30 km from Brantôme.
You will benefit from a large wooded park which shelters the vestiges of a royal forge in activity from the 16th century which saw its peak under Louis XV.
The main staircase first distributes the 50 m² entrance hall which will serve as a dining room. A double door will bring you to a living room of 50 m² also where you can relax pleasantly with family or friends.
The kitchen also overlooks the terraces and is equipped with a professional 6-burner hob, an oven, a sink and a 500-liter cold cabinet.
On request, you can also use the 70 m² ballroom, furnished to the standards of establishments open to the public.

Magnifique château et son parc

Durant notre séjour de 4 jours nous avons pleinement profité de la splendide demeure et de son magnifique parc. Les chambres sont vastes et bien équipées en lits, la salle à manger permet d'accueillir un grand nombre de personne (nous étions 13), et la cuisine est très adaptée pour la préparation de repas pour un groupe. Le parc est très agréable, avec différents espaces. Les enfants comme les adultes en ont beaucoup profité. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et très facilitants. Un grand merci à eux pour cet excellent week-end.

Super week-end entre amis

Hervé et Martine nous ont loué leurs château le temps d’un week-end. Ils sont très gentils, nous avons pu les contacter à plusieurs reprise en amont pour planifier le séjour. Nous sommes arrivés et partis à des horaires libre. Ils nous on fait une visite du château avec un partage des connaissances historique de la demeure et un petit apéro. Ils sont très disponible et à l’écoute. Même si ils ont logé dans une aile du château durant notre week-end, nous ne les avons pas vu. L’endroit est grand, avec un immense parc pour profiter et se balader, barbecue à disposition suite à notre demande. Un excellent week-end, encore merci !
