NEW Fun Filled Retreat in Jasper! Pickleball, Pool Table, Arcade Games, Bunkroom

Buffalo Basecamp brings the fun! If that is your goal, this is your place! We've packed as much fun as we possibly could into this one-of-a-kind property. Buffalo Basecamp is also equipped for relaxation and family time. It will comfortably sleep 7 and has plenty of lounging and gathering areas. It is situated along the Arkansas Grand Canyon and all of the gorgeous views that come along with it!
This two-story retreat, includes a large game room and studio apartment-style bunkroom on the first level, a studio apartment-style space on the second level, and a huge outdoor space.
The game room is loaded with activities and games, of course. It includes a pool table, 3 arcade games, darts, basketball arcade game, big screen smart TV, and a kids corner with games, activities, and a DVD TV combo (variety of DVDs included).
The bunkroom sleeps 5 with one twin-over-twin bunk bed and one twin-over-full bunk bed. This bunkroom also includes a living area with a large and super comfy couch, big screen smart TV, electric fireplace and a kitchenette that includes a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, sink, plastic dinnerware, drinkware, silverware, and coffee bar with a Keurig and a traditional drip coffee pot. Adjacent to the bunkroom you will find a full bathroom and a laundry room with full size washer and dryer.
The second level is styled like a studio apartment and will comfortably sleep 2 with a queen size bed. This space includes a kitchen with refrigerator/freezer, range, large sink, microwave, dishwasher, utensils, dinnerware, silverware, drinkware, cookware, crockpot, toaster, mixer, and more. This space also includes a coffee bar with a Keurig, dining area for six, and a living area with a big screen smart TV and electric fireplace, and a full bathroom adjacent to the sleeping area. These second level walls are loaded with windows to showcase the Arkansas Grand Canyon from the comfort of indoors. Or...you can step outside and relax on the balcony with the best views of this gorgeous landscape from Buffalo Basecamp!
Another truly unique feature of Buffalo Basecamp is the large outdoor space with plenty of room for games, gathering, and parking. Outside you will find a charcoal grill, firepit, cornhole, ladder toss, plenty of seating, AND...a pickleball court! Rackets and balls are located just inside the game room door for safe storage, along with a croquet set.
All that being said, Buffalo Basecamp is equipped for all the fun, relaxation, and conveniences you need for a one-of-a kind staycation! However, there is plenty to do in the area as well. If outdooring is your thing, Jasper has plenty to offer. Locally, you can find amazing hiking trails, waterfalls, rock climbing, mountain biking, elk viewing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and more. Or, take a day trip to Branson, Eureka Springs, or Springfield, all loaded with shopping, dining, and entertainment, and closer than you may think!
A few things worth noting to help with your packing - Buffalo Basecamp includes the following:
- all bedding, extra pillows, and blankets
- all linens and paper goods in the kitchens and bathrooms
- hand soap at each sink
- shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a hair dryer, and lotion in both bathrooms
- variety of Keurig pods, ground coffee, filters, sweeteners, and creamers at the coffee bars
- salt, pepper, cooking oils, and a variety of seasonings in the kitchen/kitchenette
- drawers and hanging space with hangers in each sleeping area
- table fan or floor fan in each sleeping area
- washer, dryer, iron, ironing pad, laundry detergent, and dryer sheets in the laundry room
- 50 amp outlet on the side of building for EV charging (bring your own connectors and cords)

SAFETY:
CAMERA - For your safety and ours, we have one camera outside featuring the driveway of the property.
WALLS - For your safety, the climbing walls inside the property are strictly prohibited. Climbing is NOT allowed whatsoever.
ENTRANCE - Please be cautious when entering and exiting the driveway from Hwy 7. We have applied for a permit with ARDOT to improve the entrance for better sightlines and turning angles. It has not been approved, so in the meantime, we want to equip you with information to help enter and exit as safely as possible. The entrance is on a curve in the road and it has a sharp angle. When entering the driveway from Hwy 7 put your blinker on early and slow down to a safe speed to notify drivers behind you. When exiting the property we suggest rolling down your windows and turning everything off to help hear highway noise (This really helps hear semi trucks and large vehicles). Once you exit the driveway and pull out in the accurate lane of Hwy 7, accelerate quickly to better blend with any vehicles that may be coming around the corners.

Directions:
Buffalo Basecamp is located at 7798 AR 7 South Jasper, AR 72641. This address will normally pull up on most maps and also on the VRBO map included in the listing. If you are coming from the north the property will be on your right, and from the south it will be on your left. The driveway is paved and is directly off Hwy 7. Also, the property is across from a picnic area, so there are blue picnic sings on Hwy 7 at 1 mile away and 1000 ft. away.
