We had a great time! House was lovely and clean.The yard was awesome for our kids to run around and explore. Easy access to Sylvan lake and the town.

Guys weekend for sick friend

Great stay quiet and seculeded enough to have your own space without bother close to lake and town with amenities comfortable stay was very happy all members of my party were happy thanks again .

Well, this location was out in the country. The blinds in all room rooms either did not open or would not close completely missing and blind in the bathroom window. I arrived. It was -3 and the furnace had not been running and after four hours, I still found it extremely cold. I brought my dog to be able to play outside only to have a Fox venture out from an outbuilding about an hour after I was there. I also came to realize that the screen door access from ground level did not lock. Therefore I stayed four hours and came home so kind of blew my weekend.

So relaxing!

We stayed at this property September 12-15, 2024. Check-in was seemless! The property was perfect for myself and my four sisters. It's very close to beach We spent most of our time on the large covered deck enjoying the scenery. We would stay therethere again!again for sure!again forto thesite.

It would have been nice to have the grass around the property cut. We had a frisbee and volleyball that we weren't able to do much with. On the other hand, the covered deck was wonderful, especially since it rained most of the weekend. It had lots of comfy seating and blankets to cosey up with outside. The house also had 2 very good seating areas inside, upstairs and downstairs. You might want to bring bottled water - although the water was drinkable, it wasn't very tasty. You're also fairly close to the highway, so there's a bit of traffic noise, but it wasn't unbearable and you don't hear it at all inside the house. The place had excellent parking and was close to everything we needed in Sylvan Lake.

Overall Lovely

We stayed at this property with some friends of ours. The decor is lovely and modern, all the basics are in the kitchen, and communication with the owner/property manager was fantastic. Everything was clean and tidy. It is super close to sylvan lake but without the crowd of actually being in the town. The reasons I gave it a 4 star are because 2 out of the 3 beds are SUPER HARD and we had 2 fitful sleeps and woke up sore, which is not what you want when you are taking a vacation without little kids and half the point of the vacation is to sleep! Another reason is because it runs on well water and the shower smells like sulfur. Not a huge deal, but isn’t pleasant. If the mattresses were changed, I’d be more than happy to come back.

Disappointing property

The property was not clean and had an odor in the garage and the main kitchen. We arrived at the location and walked into the garage to get to the house. The floor, stairs and mat were dirty with grass and mud. There was an awful smell, which we later found a bag filled with dog poop. We then walk into the house and got hit with a sour milk smell and find a bag of garbage in the pantry, which was the cause of the smell. The main shower was not cleaned, as there was hair in the tub and on top of the soap dispenser.I notified the owner and he blamed the cleaning staff. They offered to send in the cleaning staff the next day, but we already cleaned it up, as we were not going to spend the night with those foul odors. They did not seem to care about us as a customer.Overall this location needs to be cleaned better and requires some general maintenance. I would NOT stay at this location again. The lack of cleanliness and maintenance of the overall property was very disappointing.

Hair and soap scum on top of soap dispenser.
Front yard has not been cut in months.
