The surrounding resorts, such as La Toussuire, Le Corbier and Saint-Sorlin-d'Arves, offer a multitude of outdoor, fun and wellness activities, both summer and winter. This mountain village, in the heart of the Arvan-Villard massif, is renowned for the emblematic Aiguilles d'Arves, its varied hikes, as well as the Étendard glacier which peaks at 3,464 meters, accessible from the Col de la Croix de Fer. A region rich in heritage, 12 km away, is the listed 11th century cathedral of Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne. An ideal destination for hikers and cyclists, who can discover the many legendary Alpine massifs and passes of the valley.
