Ideally situated at one of the entrances of Naejangsan NP. The hotel is basic, but has everything necessary. The room is spacious and well kept, though decorations are a bit antique. The bathroom has a typical Asian tub (relatively small and deep), and offers all amenities you need. Towels are relatively small, so if you want larger ones, we suggest to take your own. The walls of the room are thin, which makes that you hear the noises in the hallway or the next room. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, even to the point of driving in front of us to show us a good restaurant and helping us order once there.

Nice location

You could only find one hotel on the webs near NaeJangSan, but I could see some other hotels surrounded by. Very nice location and it is just 5 mins away from Baegyangsa. Please donโ€™t expect anything from this hotel and you could get more (ie water to fill near to the staircase )

Very old hotel but this is the only hotel near Neajiangsan National park. Hotel have basic requirements like attached toilet & bathroom. No food nearby, have to walk 10 to 15 mins to look for restaurants.

Don't underestimate the impact of a nice shower

Location is great. The hotel itself - needs updating. The bathroom was quite gross. The water pressure in the shower is non-existent. The pillows are made out of tiny plastic beads - this must be an Asian thing. The manager (the son) who checked us in was extremely friendly and helpful. In the end, the location to the park is the only true positive about the hotel itself.

Helpful owner, close to Naejangsan national park

This is a family run hotel which is around for probably 30 over years. Chosen this hotel sue to its proxmity to Naejangsan national park, however its located near to Baeyangsan entrance and not Naejangsan. We hired return cab to Naejangsan at 50,000 won. Baeyang-sa temple is also worth visiting to view autumn leaves. Choose the traditional room with futons as the heated floor is really good during cold weather. Hotel owners are very helpful and responsive to our requests, they help to hire taxis or give advice on travelling, they helped us save on transportation fee by checking out the bus schedules to bamboo forest and even drive us to the bus stops, really appreciate the hospitality extended to us. To get to this hotel, we took airport bus fron Incheon airport to Gwangju bus terminal (32,300 won), and there is a bus that goes to the bus terminal near hotel (about 2500 won, check with hotel on the name of the bus terminal).
