Scenery around the property is beautiful. The staff is rude and not helpful. The pool was supposed to close at 10pm however we were told at 5:15pm it was closing at 6pm. The manager at least waved the $19.99 resort fee but still the main reason we booked was because of the indoor pool and play area for the kids.
Beautiful area, plus mini golf!
So much fun! So many things to do, very friendly staff and good food choices
The property is fantastic. Hotel itself is old, but very clean and well kept. The pool and hot tub are fantastic. Especially the outdoor hot tub. Very family friendly. They were understaffed - and that's my biggest complaint. But I guess that is a universal problem during COVID. Overall, highly recommended.
Terrible service.
Very nice very friendly good clean people very nice
I love the charm of this resort. It has a beautiful, cozy atmosphere and everything is within an easy walk. The loft rooms are great!
Be prepared for paper thin walls. Felt like the people in the next room were in my room
Classic building & relaxed atmosphere. Amenities are excellent.
There is a lot of activities on property. The staff was extremely friendly.
The overnight stay was a gift to my sister and her husband for their 50th wedding anniversary. She stated that the heat did not work, only blew cold air so they shut it off. They did not notify anyone that it did not work. Thank you. Otherwise they enjoyed the surprise.
Had a great stay. Staff was great. Hope to go back sometime next year with the family.
The biggest disappointment was the pool/hot tub area. There were so many kids that we barely had room to even get in the hot tub. The worst was that the chlorine was so heavy my eyes burned within seconds of getting into the hot tub. We only stayed a few minutes due to the chlorine in the air. We called when we were close to arriving and were told that we could buy lift tickets at the desk but when we got there we were informed "we never sell tickets at the desk." The rooms are very expensive with high taxes and yet we only had 2 plastic cups and minimum supplies for our room. Just seems a lot of money for what we got. Finally we decided to eat at the bistro which was also quite expensive, but my husbands meal was not good. It was recommended to us by the waitress as being one of their best dishes but the pork chop was so dry and overcooked that he didn't eat it. We did tell the waitress it was very dry; she said she would tell the cook. We love the slopes at the peek, but were felt the accomodations were way over priced.
We arrived at Peak n Peak on a Thursday and stayed until Saturday morning. The skiing was amazing and the accommodations were excellent. The shower in our room had a slow drain, but the staff was professional and took care of it as soon as we alerted them to the issue. I definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.
Ski resort desperately trying to be year-around attraction. Cater to golfers - which is not us ! Dinner -- waited 45 minutes at a table in Gazebo Grille to place a drink order. Instead, walked across parking lot to Bistro. Much nicer environment, staff and larger menu choices. Seafood Bisque was delicious. Guest areas need a refresh. Nice to have on-site Starbucks, absolutely nothing is close-by. All activities are extra charges and resort fees. Would be very expensive for a family. Not a relaxing / luxury type of facility. Total over-view.....will probably not be a return customer. However....nothing else close by and we have business and friends in the area.
