The house was absolutely perfect for our weekend away with friends. The views were stunning, the house was clean and spacious, hot tub and fire pit were a huge plus for the cool evening. The host was extremely welcoming and very easy to get in contact with. We will definitely look to stay here again.

The home was gorgeous and very clean. Everything in the description was helpful and true. Our hostess, Dawn was very helpful in reminders and answering questions very quickly. We were even missing a mattress topper for the sofa bed and she had her housekeeper bring it over that very evening. There were 20 family members and plenty of room for us all to relax and have meals. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. The parking was great as well, which was needed for 2 boat trailers and several cars. And sooo easy to get to the boat ramp.She had wood in the garage ready for the firepit. We enjoyed it all. Some family members said they hated to leave. That says it all!

Beautiful views of the mountains and lake from the house. Lots of space for everyone, we weren't tripping over each other. We cooked in a few times and loved the spacious kitchen. We were left two empty propane tanks for the outside grill. Not what you want to find when your about to start cooking dinner, but went and exchanged one for a full one. Hot tub was relaxing and very clean. Couldn't get over how many eagles that few past the lake side of the house to check on us. Overall a super property with wonderful views that will definitely make memories. Will be back.

We had a fantastic stay in a great house with a beautiful, sweeping view from high above Raystown Lake! Bella Vista is spacious, clean, and comfortable. Dawn is a tremendous host, responsive, helpful, and she provided excellent recommendations of local activities and dining options. We will definitely come back for another stay next time we’re in the Raystown area!

The property is absolutely stunning! The views are incredible and the house is well-appointed. We visited with a group of 10, and it was generously sized for our group. There was space to hang out and room to spread out. The owner was very responsive and took the time to get to know our group and suggest activities we would like. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return to this property!

What a lovely home with an amazing viewOur hostess Dawn was so accommodating. I spent time on the phone and asked many questions, she was terrific. The house does sleep a lot of people and we really had an AMAZING family reunion. The kitchen is simple and lovely to work in, so feeding our group of 16 was made easier. The outside fire pit was so lovely to use. My grand niece loved the slide. The Jacuzzi was well used. Come stay at this lovely place, I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we did.

Extended Family Stay

We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful home. The setting is amazing. The hosts were extremely helpful before and during our stay. When there was a minor issue with the house during our stay, there was someone on site within the hour. You won't be disappointed with the house, the views, or the hosts. 5 stars all the way!

New Years Family Gathering ages 5 months to 71 years

House was large and quite adequate for our 21 people. Nice weather allowed for several hikes even over New Years. Great views and sunrises. Sunroom off kitchen was popular early morning spot. Large first floor area allowing game area, food prep area football watching

Wonderful property that exceeds expectations!

Such a great property that everyone in our group raved about! The views are amazing, property clean and accommodating, and the rooms are comfortable with plenty of bathrooms for a large group. If your looking at the pictures online and wondering if the property is worthwhile to book, it without question is and highly recommend.

Beautiful property with a wonderful property manager

This property is stunning. The house is gorgeous, but it's all about the views from the porch!! Whether it's the boats on the lake during or the marina lights at night, the view is captivating. Anna and Dawn were very responsive, helpful and made everything easy. The house is well appointed and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and rent again. Thanks for the wonderful memories!

Just Beautiful!

Where do I begin? From my first encounter with Dawn to our morning of check-out, everything was smooth sailing. The property was absolutely beautiful from the interior to the exterior with the outstanding views. We loved the fire pit (with plenty of wood) and the hot tub which was clean and so relaxing. We did take a day and rented a pontoon at Seven Points Marina (about 25 minutes away). The lake is spectacular. I highly recommend getting out there if you can. The marina has everything from small boats to large houseboats. Please do not hesitate to rent this fabulous home. You will not be disappointed!

PSU Grad Weekend Family Getaway

We celebrated a PSU graduation party at this property, and it was absolutely perfect! The house was incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean, making it comfortable for our entire group. The views of the lake were stunning and provided a picturesque backdrop for our celebration. Everything about our stay exceeded expectations. Spectacular Stay!

Bella Vista does not disappoint! This was our second stay and it was equally as lovely as the first. We are a group of three families that have been taking retreats, to hike and spend time together, every year since our kids were babies. As the kids grew, we needed more space, and Bella Vista fit the bill and delivered with plenty of comfortable beds and lots of refrigerator & storage space for the mass amounts of food that our growing teens consume! We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit, and watching the sunrise and moonrise reflected on the lake from the porch. Stunning! During the day, we crafted at the large dining room table, played board games, and zipped over to Trough Creek for a gorgeous day of hiking. Our group also enjoyed Raystown’s amazing biking trails and 18-hole disc golf course. State College/Penn State was about an hour away, so if we chose to go to a football game or shops we could. Nearby there were also small shops where necessities and bags of ice were available to keep beverages cold during our stay. The kids enjoyed soaking in the hot tub at night, too. Our hosts were very responsive, kind, and accommodating. We will be back! Thank you so much!
