This place is one of the worst hotels I have ever been to. The lobby is faily clean, but the room is a dirty affair. I can live with unclean corners, but I will not accept dirty matresses. The sheet on top was worn but fairly clean, but the matress cover and the mattress itself had numerous large stains the provenience of which I decline to guess at. Ughh. I slept ON that bed more or less fully dressed. Breakfast is acceptable in terms of selection of food, but if you see staff picking their nose whilst preparing food, your appetite will immediately be gone. Needless to say that I did not have any health issues during my visit in Indonesia at all, but one day after the stay in that place I actually got sick.

Stayed here a couple of days. Got a upgrade from the hotelmanager and I was verry happy with that. Nice spacious room with a verry comfortable bath. Roomservice was top and yes I would stay here again. Even the doorguys and helping hands of the hotel are friendly people. Yes a big thumbs up

When You check on the website, it has 4 star hotel Quality but I guess it's star for Hotel in Bali or Lombok sorry to say but Jayakarta Jakarta was not that quite appealing The Parking was terrible for a 4 star hotel stairs, bathroom, bedroom was filthy i appreciate the meeting room was big and clean but the service was bad the i look up the price it has the same price with 4 star hotel that i've been and it's not that worth it sorry you need to upgrade the service and the hotel

the room smell worst, the bed is so dirty, we got a half shampoo, the food at breakfast is so so, not many, the staff are careless, the only good thing in this hotel is near from food place because in central jakarta. better you stay to another hotel, haha

Got invitation to stay free for 1 night in here, got a standard room with 2 beds. the room was enough spacious and cozy for 4 people, 1 trouble was the water. At the night water in bathroom very dirty, I don't know why, brown-black water was like ground-water not PAM water, You must wait til morning and flowing water continuesly to got clear water. They had swimming pool but the range is just too deep for me hehe, from 1.5 m til 2.5 metre, for breakfast was just okay. oh but love the wifi, really speed

This is the oldest hotel I have ever stayed in I was bike riding with friends to ancol. At 3 in the morning we decided to stay in hotel The closest stay now hotel was jayakarta This hotel is really old. The place is quite dirty What upset me and my friend is the bike parking We rode litre class sport bike. Yamaha R1 And we were directed to park at the motorcycle parking lot which was filthy with cat poo My friend was really upset as he rode from malaysia and his bike is precious to him Likewise mine. The management need to clean the parking lot please There was nothing good about this hotel except the front desk reception guy was super friendly and helpful I think the name is Agus. If it wasn't for him I would have gave this hotel a zero star rating. Horrible hotel. Lucky to have good staff. Probably because of experience. He seems old. Experienced and know how to handle guest with hospitality. Please clean up the parking lot specially bike parking lot And refurnish. The furniture is older than my grandparents

When I was check in (end of January 2017) only 2 FO (Front Office) stafff and they are so bussy because there wa a big group check ini. It took me 10 minutes for wait and checkin. The FO Officer ask me to deposit 200K rupiah (what the ....????). I ask for higher floor room, then he gave me room on 15th floor. When i saw the room, it was nice, but there's only 1 slipper, 1 toothbrush, no bath tub (not as seen on app) and there is NO WIFI (what the.....???). Then I complaint to FO, they said sorry for inconvience because 15th floor just got room make over and there is NO INTERNET CONNECTION INSTALLED YET (what the ....????). I get angry and ask for move to another room, and then they gave me a room on 8th floor. When i opened the room, its SMELL like a wet rug, but the smell dissapear when i turn up the Air Conditioning. This room more old than on 15th floor, had 1 sofa setaer, only 1 slipper and 1 toothbrush, but it had bathtub on bathroom. Not so many good TV Channel on TV (they used ORANGE TV not Indovision or First Media or Telkomvision, what the ....????). The swimming pool was so great, not big but CLEAN. There is no staff provide a towell on a pool, so I had to brought my own towell from my room. When check out, the FO staff ask for my deposit reciept, honestly I dont know where it is. I ask them why they dont write it down when i check in or put in computer system so they dont have to ask the receipt to the guest.

The Jayakarta Hotel is an old hotel. My first visit to it was in 1987 and it used to be a famous city landmark of Jakarta at that time. It’s kind of run down but the facilities including a big lobby, room is spacious and AC is normal, good restaurant breakfast etc. still maintain minimum standard as a big hotel should be.

I've been here 2days ago, My boyfriend he booked this hotel because it was near to train station and i was thought that oh yeah it's Jayakarta which is still 4stars hotel so i did expected their service and everything which is called 4 stars hotel (FYI, . I went to Jayakarta Hotel in Bali once and it was nice also I passed by Jayakarta Lombok many times and it was also nice. Talk about the building itself yes i know Jayakarta which is their concept is about vintage, old school and probably classic decoration. But you won't find it here. Only old ramp building with no maintenance but they still dare to operated it as a hotel ? For management please do something to improve or at least maintenance this property. You are in a very strategic places and i saw many hotel around you which is could be motivate you ! Even the building is damn awful the worst is also from your own staffs. Need more training and briefing ! I checked in around 9.30pm booked for 1 deluxe bedroom with kingsizebed and he told me that they have no more king sizebed for us and only twin bed. Hmmm.. also the room is not ready yet i heard he contact the housekeeping. We were check in at 9.30pm not 9am hoe come the room is not ready yet ?! The recepion Mr. Akus R is very unpleasant and rude ! the way he talk wasn't pleasant to me ! he did insists to give us twin bedroom, if we hadn't pay yet i prefer to moved and find another hotel nearby !! he didn't explain everything like the check in procedure. Just give me the key. We got room beside lift and it was damn noisy ! the toilet flush wasn't working and the water pump keep noisy as well. Only housekeeping and concierge teams had a good impression to me. Please train your staffs well with smile!

Old hotel and the smell of the room is not fresh even you book for non smoking room. Actually the receptionist are good and nice, but the house keeping was very slow. It needs 3 times call and 3 hours to get towel which they forgot to place in room when I was checked in. I think I will not use this hotel again, many other brands around when you must stay close to LTC Glodok or Kota Tua.
