I ALWAYS feel welcome and at II Home at Le Meridien. The hotel gives you very good value for money. Nice, beautiful and recently upgraded rooms. ExcellentRestauants especially Al Nafoura and La Brazzerie. Outstanding Executive Lounge.
As a frequent visitor to Jakarta, I have stayed a wide range of hotels including of the Starwood brands, Keraton, Sheraton Gandaria and the Hermitage. On my most recent trip to Jakarta of barely 36 hours over two nights, I decided to give the Le Méridien a go. I was somewhat wary given the age and massive size of the hotel and not least worrisome it offered the most attractive room rate. My apprehension was misplaced. On almost every level the hotel exceeded my expectations. Must mentions include the super fast on line check in/out, excellent service and generosity of the Club on the 20th level, reliable wifi, renovated and perfectly quiet rooms etc. Special mention to Primasari the hotel’s reservation agent who kindly and promptly dealt with some pre-arrival emails. One of the attributes of this hotel is that unlike the Keraton and Westin, it offers an outdoor semi resort style pool and my only minor gripe is that this facility is showing its age and well overdue for a facelift.
First time staying at Le Meridien Jakarta and I was pleasantly surprised with a few things. First, with a hotel which looks outdated, the interior of the room is well-maintained, spacious and classic. Secondly, I hate staying at hotels where their water pressure isn't strong but Le Meridien's was perfect! Water pressure and heating were excellent! Thirdly, location is convenient as well coming in from the airport but traffic right in front of the hotel can get really busy. Lastly, staff quality and attitude are fantastic! Overall, my stay was really nice and would definitely consider returning to the hotel on my next trip.
We always stay at Le Meridien in Jakarta because of the warmth and friendliness of the staff, the quality and range of the facilities, the property's location relative to the work that I do in Jakarta and in particular, the outstanding experience that we enjoy in Le Club lounge on the 20th floor. Those of us with access privileges are truly privileged by the exceptional service provided by the super friendly staff in addition to the excellent ambience and good food all around. Highly recommended!
I stayed in the Club Le Meridian for almost a month in November-December 2017 and again for 5 nights in January on business. The hotel staff in general are very helpful and friendly. The service provided by the Le Meridian Club staff is exceptional in every way. I have never felt so well-cared for or experienced a more supportive and friendly environment. Everything was taken care of and the food was great!
We first discovered this hotel in the ‘90’s when resident in Jakarta. Recently finished another visit, perhaps our 10th, after leaving the City in early ‘2000’s. Yes, an older hotel, but one that has always demonstrated sound management, well maintained and updated rooms, exceptional staff at every locale in the hotel, including room staff and reception/check in personnel. Particular positive comments for the Lounge personnel and those of the Concierge/Baggage Handling Group (excellent support received on this visit from C. Anwar). The food in the restaurants, including the Lounge, is varied, fresh, well presented and tasty. Hard to find a better buffet and also Lebanese food. The hotel is well located, well served by taxis, provides easy short term driver and car rentals (through Blue Bird) and relatively close to Grand Indonesia for shopping and airport toll road access. All rooms are well air conditioned and the toiletries are some of the best, ample and easy to open (could use a better toilet paper however!). Water supplied to the room for SPG guests is ample supply (not a common feature for some SPG hotels). The hotel business is very competitive in Jakarta but Le Meridien deserves attention because prices are within reason, services excellent, and one is never disappointed. Business/SPG Lounge is one of the best one can find. We are back there in two weeks, taking advantage of baggage storage in the interim. For us, a definite 5 Star rating on our extensive hotel experiences throughout the world.
Whenever I travel to Jakarta I stay there. The people at the hotel are very nice, specially Emil at Tiga Puluh and Ramses at the Restaurant and the staff of the club lounge. I like the atmosphere and decoration of the hotel and the newly renovated rooms are very nice. In the evening you can relax with libe music at the lobby bar. And the buffet is always full of very good food!
Good location, near the highway exit from the airport. In between the major shopping areas too. From outside the hotel looks dated, but rooms are fairly modern. Clean and well-kept. Wifi was dependable. Did not try the breakfast or other facilities. A dependable place to stay at reasonable price.
We travel to Jakarta frequently and now only stay at Le Meridien. We have stayed at other nice hotels in Jakarta but this is our favourite. We decided to stay here because a friend brought us to the restaurant Al Nafoura- we liked it so much we decided to move to the hotel. We were not disappointed. Check in was very quick- Front desk staff were extremely helpful with transportation, activities, business needs- anything we needed. Rooms are very clean and super comfortable. Lounge staff was great as well. Really - any staff we came across were very good to us. The pool area is lovely and a great place for morning coffee.
Hotel is nice, room is good.. close to my office, i like this hotel. All the staff is very friendly serving hotel guest, some room room are already updated and some that have not, 1 thing i like after getting to the hotel after work is so comfortable sleeping and rest in the room. All facility in the room went smoothly only sometimes some electricity not working😀, over all is nice hotel
