I stayed two nights at this hotel, and it was good. I got helped by Adam, Kemal and Putri during my stay in this hotel. in front of the hotel there are bunch of street food stalls, so you dont have to worry to get hungry when you stay in this hotel. This hotel also got mini jogging track and it was good :)
This hotel its really good with quick service and friendly , the staff remembered my name as well, specially Mr. Kemal (front desk),breakfast was good and taste, thank you Ibis Mangga Dua Jakarta, I give my thumb for all staff.
Cheap, very cheap rooms and it's purely just that. Checkin is fast, enter the room, everything is clean, neat and basically, that's it. A nice place to just sleep for a night without any other things. It's not outside posh malls and not at the main road. To go anywhere, you will need to arrange for taxi or Grab. Oh... Do bring your own toothbrush !
I was in business trip and my company booked this hotel for me. The room is awesome, and the staff very welcoming me. Most suprising me when they sent me cake for my birthday, this was precious unforgettable moment for me. Thank you for the hospitaly. Definately will come back to this hotel again.
this is a old hotel which i'm not comfortable with. but if you want to go to Mangga Dua, this is the nearest hotel from that. you can walk, and across the street. clean and good staff too 👍🏻 at night in front of the hotel, there is a night market.

Very pleasant for Receptions Minus : 1. soap and shampoo are not separate 2. facilities toothbrush, slippers only 1 in room Location : 1. Very excellence for shopping - electronics or any kind of clothes or Garments *Very Closed to Pasar Pagi mangga dua 2. Very Closed to Pangeran Jayakarta Station and you can go to Bogor, MONAS, by the Train Commuter *walk from the hotel to Station about 5 minutes to the south of the hotel
We had a bad experience trying to walk on our own in the neighborhood, so I'd suggest to use the taxis at the entrance. Other than that, the rooms are kept clean, they aren't huge but large enough; bathrooms OK; staff will make an effort to overcome their difficulties with English; food is quite good. The carpets on the floor hallways could use changing, as it is also apparent that the air conditioning system will take an important investment before it's back on track.
The pros: - This hotel is very strategically located in Mangga Dua area, exactly across Pasar Pagi Mangga Dua, just in very near walking distance. There is Blue Bird taxi pool in front of the lobby, so it is easy to go anywhere. - The room is large and spacious compared with other Ibis hotels, with Ibis Sweet Bed and new design standard. The linens are clean, crisp, and white. Although the hotel is old, the room has just been renovated and new. - There is beverage cooler in room, but that is not a freezer or fridge. The lowest temperature is around 12-15C. - The bathroom is large, old style Ibis bathroom, but the water is clean and the shower is good (in terms of water pressure and temperature). - The view from room is very good, especially city view, with trains passing in the foreground. - The breakfast is large and varied, although mostly local menu. They also provide continental breakfast in limited amount. - They have a Le Club Accor Hotel priority floor, which shows they have an intention to treat loyal guests differently, although I don't know or feel which privileges or priorities they put on that floor. - They provide free local newspaper (Jawa Pos) everyday in the lobby. - The average rate is cheap enough for its class and the benefits included, but in peak season can be quite expensive. - And oh, they have large fluffy sofa in the room, which I like very much. The cons: - When I checked in (around 2 PM), the room was ready except the towels. The receptionist said the towels would be ready soon, but until 5.10 PM they never came until I contacted front desk. - The telephone in the room has very low sound, almost unheard. At first I thought it was off. - The lights was off at least 2 times during my stay. It took almost 1 minutes to turn the light on again. - I was disturbed by the sound of children next door playing and slamming door, and something like room maintenance in the middle of the night. - They put a lot of mosquitos in breakfast room and they feasted on me. Maybe they was there to keep the guests away, to prevent them from eating too much. - The air conditioner is not powerful. It take long time to cool the room. Eventually it reach comfortable temperature but not cool enough, perhaps only 22-23C. - The wifi is good but they went off several times. It is also very localized, so when going to breakfast room or other floor it will be disconnected and you will need to connect to other wifi in that floor or area.
Iverall the hotel and room are nice and clean. I would suggest for slightly more lighting though as the room is a little too dim.. a stand lamp would be sufficient. Would stay again and it is value for the money i paid.
