A decent hotel in a decent area

This was my first time visiting Jakarta. I arrived at the hotel around 11pm and the staff were welcoming and waiting for me. the bag person helped me with my bags and got me settled into the hotel. the room was a bit rundown and dated but the cost for the room reflected. The wifi was reliable and the food in the complimentary breakfast was delicious.

Old hotel. Room is spacious. Mattresses were a bit too soft for my back. Wifi was strong in the lobby but weak in the room. Breakfast was average. On the whole it was okay for the price .

The location is good. There is a convenience store just outside the hotel. The food at breakfast buffet was good, lot of choices. It’s hard to communicate to some staff due to language but they are nice and approachable. They even volunteer to call a taxi if you needed one.

Simple hotel with sufficient facilities

Room was a comfortable size with a bar fridge, safe and a flat screen TV. The bed is pretty comfortable and the door staff is very helpful in helping to book taxi and with luggage. Hotel reception speaks English.

Spacious room helpful staff not great location

Took Blue Bird taxi from airport and the driver could not find the hotel so drove in circles for 4 dollars worth. Nearest BRT (bus rapid transport) station Mangea Dua is 2 km away and the hotel runs a free transfer service there. You leave 2 min after asking for a shuttle. Decent breakfast. Staff very helpful. Agreed to keep our suitcase during 2 weeks while we travel around Java lightweight. Room spacious. Bed and pillow very comfortable. Great stay. Downside is the drainage: water stands in sink and shower for 12 hours and it's a bit smelly.
