We had a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was super amazing and lots of choices. Where we stayed was easy access to the Grand Indonesia and also not far from Plaza Indonesia. We were so happy that the hotel was full of history about Indonesia. We will come back when we are back in the city.

I was initially assigned Room 700, but after settling in, I noticed that the central air conditioning was unusually loud. I reported this to Ms. Dwinda Ayu, who responded promptly and arranged for me to be moved to another room without any hassle — her attentiveness was greatly appreciated. On the final evening of my stay, I visited the Executive Lounge, where Ms. Annissa kindly checked in with me and asked for feedback. I shared a few minor comments regarding wear and tear, and she took immediate steps to follow up on them. Great food options too. The hospitality and responsiveness of the team truly stood out. Kempinski offered a warm, comfortable experience — a genuine home away from home. I look forward to returning.

Have been saying here more than 10 times. This time is the worst experience. I won’t list the others. Just simple thing, for the past 3 days, I asked for Eggs over easy. All is great here. Except the Japanese restaurant OKU, in the lobby. The Toro Sashimi we had was courageously speaking, the worst we ever had. My wagu dish actually tasted bad and was slimy!! The Eal was stinky and badly done with a very poor presentation. The service was even worse. Although there was only two more people in the entire restaurant besides us, we had to ask for Service to remove our plates to get new cutlery, drinks etc., etc. continuously. Very bad experience all together at the OKU. Will never put foot there. When we asked who the Chef was the waiter told us there’s two chef, which this answer by itself is another problem. He didn’t know the name!!
