I would bluntly stated here my experience staying in this place is the worst feeling ever. The Front Desk Staff treat me with an "unwelcoming attitude" without making any effort to smile or even making an eye contact with me while talking to me. I checked in at this hotel on Saturday (18/9/2017) and check out on the next day. So I bet my bad experience is still fresh. I've been traveling to numerous of city and country in my life and this is the worst stay ever. I will never forget that the staff treat me in that kind of improper way as we are some kind of beggar begging them for money or room ( that is how it feels like). I remember the staff that working from 6am until 8am( a guy) and the morning staff (a women and a guy) that proudly talk to us with the eyes glues to the monitor without mention excuse me or sorry, just a moment and zero tolerant given towards me and my partner. They didn't even explained and brief to us regarding the breakfast (where is the venue and the time) and they even never mention about the complimentary welcome drink (just realized it when i reached the room and i check it on my own). So they just simply give me the card and just simply said to me (You can go to your room. you room number is written in the card) So I'm totally disappointed with the services given to me here and I will never recommended this hotel to my relatives or even my friends. I've been working in hotel line for over 6 years and I bet I clearly understand and know that each of hotel will have a thing that called as Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Which hereby, I strongly believed that your respective hotel will have the SOP and it clearly means that the staff already disobey the it and i bet they don't even get the clear view on the most important thing here, it called as Respect and i bet myself here as a customer deserved to get some respect because I bet respect is earned.
Reasonable hotel although looking a bit old and maybe a bit shabby in places. Its clean and the male reception staff were a pleasure to deal with. Room was a good size but the bathroom was a little dated - beware of the water supply. It looks too yellow to be considered drinkable. Use the complimentary bottles. Only one complaint on the room and that was that the aircon took almost all night to get down to a cool level. I found the room very hot considering it wasn't particularly hot outside. Next time I'll ket an extra key card so I can keep the aircon running while I go out for dinner.
With the exception of the guys on reception (who were really helpful, polite and happy in their customer dealings) the hotel lacks certain attention to detail that makes a difference to where you stay next time around. Things like, never book a family with young kids next to a single person there on business. I need to work at night and kids really do need to scream and shout and run off some energy in the room (and sometimes the corridors) - both of us have different needs. Most hotels cater for this - Not Ciputra! They have a lobby band playing in the afternoon. It's a nice place to sit, drink coffee and relax with a colleague or two. Problem is that no one is minding the shop and the band get far too loud as they enjoy themselves. I tried two times to order food via room service without success - The first girl took my order than said "Wait!" she walked off and that was it. The second girl who took my order was surprisingly quite rude to me and said that she would call be back - Didn't happen. I eventually went to reception to order the food - room service didn't get the complete order to me but at least I could eat something while waiting to start my conference call. While I'm on food..... They need to update the room menu. each time I asked for something I was told "sorry we don't do that". The dessert menu I was told later now only has three choices. The hotel itself and my room was a little old looking but it's clean and has a reasonable breakfast choice. It's not one that I would look forward to staying in next time although I may have to as it's close to my customer :-(
We stayed in this hotel for one night between flights. It is conveniently located with 25 minutes drive from the airport when using the toll road. It is located beside a shopping mall with many food options, although only asian. The room we got for the three of us was too small for a longer stay (deluxe twin) but was ok for just the one night. Water in the bathroom was scalding hot and it was not possible to regulate the water temperature. Washtub tap was leaking so the cold water had been turned off. Restaurant is fine but nothing special. Swimming pool instead is large for a city hotel. Hotel.com website stated that there is airport transportation available, but that appeared only to be the case if booked at least one day in advance. The personnel was not very creative in helping us to get transport, but in the end one hotel car appeared to be available. Price is three times higher than the regular taxi fare. However regular taxis are too small to accommodate three persons and their suitcases. All in all an ok stay with some small nuisances.
The owner of this hotel have great inspiration about human interest. We could see from any hotel he has in Java. Statues and pictures on the wall is always unique. Brought us back to a time somewhere. Took us a while to find out what the next artworks. The curiosity about how many ideas always bring us back here. You are very original, sir.
Old Hotel but well maintenance, Room are big, furniture need refublish but all clean. Breakfast : many variety from indonesian to western. I love the juice bar. Pool big enough for kids, Direct access to Ciputra Mall
I did enjoy staying at Ciputra. It was closed to my client and has the most reasonable price. The room is clean and neat. Though I don't like shower in the bathtub which I think it's so good fashion. What is also good is that it's adjoining to a shopping mall. Starbucks is there but hardly any good restaurants.
I have stayed here many times mainly because of its location and the mall attached to the hotel. It's not the best hotel in Jakarta but it's also not the worst. The ongoing issue is the strange idea's of the hotels management and their attitude towards customer service. Discrimination against different room and which room get full service and which rooms are excluded.. I don't book the cheapest room and I don't book the most expensive room but Its always difficult to get a feel for which room will be on the "Do it tough" list. The mini bar is a customer SERVICE but some rooms don't get it filled unless you are prepared to pay a deposit and that is on top of the deposit you have to pay if you might need room service. None of the staff were able confirm which rooms get full service so too bad, I bought what I needed from the mall next door.. Ciputra missed out on that income due to screwed up ideas. How much do they lose on an annual basis? Thankfully is not my problem until they raise the room rates to offset the drop in income.. then it's time to move on. PLEASE SEND your manages to a customer SERVICE training camp.
Hotel Ciputra is linked to the Ciputra Mall which has shops, restaurants, cinema n banks. This makes this hotel very convenient in terms of options for food and shopping. I came here for meeting and all of the staffs are friendly, the hotel very clean and the services are satisfied
Hotel ciputra is very good because it is adjacent and connected with ciputra mall so that when we want to shop no need to walk far again. The services provided to customers are also very good so customers staying at the hotel ciputra can feel the comfort provided.
