First of all, the room is really big, the smallest room already has living room, simple kitchen set and utensils, dining table and couch, so comfy and spacious. The room also has balcony overlooking northern Jakarta view and the ocean... Perfect place for weekend staycation with family and friends. Some parts of furniture are defect, hope the management get it right because it's so obvious looking like drawer, table, bed, wall etc Checking in might be too long because they always seem busy handling some certain guests. Some guests must wait to get their room ready, luckily not for me. The pool itself is really big but a little cloudy so I didnt even sink myself into it. The operational hours should be longer tho (8 or 9 PM) because they close at 6 PM. Breakfast must be a busy time but it was all good. Food is decent and many varieties.
It was located outside Taman impian Jaya Ancol. Our room was big enough, it has two bed rooms,one kitchen and living room. The pools are big. The breakfast was good. I can see the ocean from my bed rooms window, i love it so much. At night, we went to the rooftop bar and we love it.
We arrive at the hotel at 11 am and they allow us for early check in without any additional payment. But that time only available smooking room, we take the risk. When we enter the room, no cigarette smells at all!! The room is large, there is dining room, sofa and small kitchen. But the bed rather bit small for three of us. I'm staying with my husband and 6yo son. The breakfast very nice. Many options for food. Hotel also provide children playground but it's located outside near the carpark which is not comfortable at all. And no guest realize the kids playground. To bad that the pool is under maintenance that time. We use apartment's pool, it means that we need to share with many people from the apartment and they surely not provide towel at the pool area.
The hotel is divided into towers. I think there are 34 floors in each tower. Two bed room apartement is ok but sitting area is small and only one bath room. Wi Fi is slow and most of the time not working. Restaurant not good with little choices but workers are very nice. Reception is ok but would not give me a ride to airport and asked him to call a limo or blue bird and he said we can not do it. Close to Manga Dua mall but you need a taxi. There is a market ouside the hotel in the back.
Nice hotel, fast respond and clean, nearby dufan theme park, ancol beach, the hotel offers city view and beach view. While staying there, the room are big, nice for kids play around. From checking in until checkout, all hotel crew giving their nice warmful services.
1. I check in at 4PM and I have to wait 1 hour just to get the room!! 2. The elevator not work properly and smells bad!! 3. The table at the restaurant smells bad! 4. Breakfast bad! We have to wait long enough for the food!
I stayed at Aston Marina Hotel at Ancol during lebaran holiday last June with my family for 2 nights. The famous name of Aston I took as a guarantee that I will stay at a good hotel with good service as I experienced previously at other Aston hotels. I took 2 bedroom superior. When I wanted to use the bathtub there was no plug cover so I decided to took the sink one in order for me to use the bathtub. The linen were not as clean as I expected to see in the Aston rooms. And the bathroom had bad smell, made me had to spray perfume in those bathroom. And very limited bath equipments (no shower cap and only four bath towel, no small towel). In the morning there were no much choices for breakfast. I appreciated the man who was in charge at the pool, he was a nice and friendly man. Then we all went all day and expecting to be back in the clean room, as I already hang the sign "Please make up room" on the door knob and also informed the front desk twice to ensure that our room will be cleaned. Unfortunately when we got back, the room was still in the same condition as we left, nothing cleaned, nothing changed. I complained and they told me the cleaning room will be sent, waiting for 30 minutes and after second call then the cleaning room service arrived. The front desk offered us to move to other room with one bedroom, I refused it. Then they offered us to move to 25th floor, it has two bedrooms. After considering that it was no convenient at all to be there while the room was cleaning up, we agreed to move. The room was not managed well, the coffee table can not stand firmly, the bathroom were more smelly than the previous one, and the worst while we were sleeping the air conditioner in one of the bedroom was leaking, dropping water the whole night. Tried to switch off it still dripping, switch on again but the AC turned to spray the water. So I decided to move the bed to avoid the dripping water. In the morning I complaint to the front desk and the duty manager promised to see us after breakfast. And found out the duty manager already left with no message at all, no apologies, only discount 20% for the second night. Is it the standard procedure to the customers? Or perhaps there were already so many complaints so the duty manager and the front staff took granted customer' satisfaction?
The room was so huge and also has a mini kitchen. So it helps you when you hungry and lazy to go out from the room. The pool was terrible. The water was dirty. Breakfast? Need more variation of menu and is tasteless. Staff so helpful and friendly.
Taking the one bed room apartment, the room was spacious and clean, the pool was a bit dirty. Not have connection with ancol park, breakfast have variety menu, they have middle eastern section, a lot of Arab's visiting this hotel.
After years, I stepped myself again at Aston Marina Ancol. The hotel is still quite the same with its warm and cozy ambience. Love the scent since my first smell into the lobby area. Continue to have a buffet dinner here, at Cumi-Cumi Restaurant. The dinner theme is about Jakarta's food because tomorrow, on 22 June, Jakarta will reach 490years! Love their Laksa Betawi, especially the soup. Also the Nasi Uduk and Nasi Kunig with perfect condiment. Haven't visit a hotel which prepare some variety of fish, they even have catfish! My recommendation, you need to try! The restaurant also provide a refill beverages : juice, ice tea and iced water - while some other hotels will give another charge for this. For the dessert, all the fruits array are fresh, mostly a tropical fruit. And also love their Es Buah! Last but not least, try a glass of iced cappucinno in their lobby lounge, which will complete your dinner here! FYI, the waiter and waitress at Cumi-Cumi also doing a good job. They are very polite and always know when to clean our finished dish.
