This Hotel was wonderful in that the Rooftop Restaurant provides entertainment and great food. The service was very slow, but the rest made up for it. Our room was exceptional, more like an apartment. Service throughout the rest of the Hotel was impeccable. A unique experience, with the most beautiful interior decoration, in traditional Indian ornamental style This Hotel was a visual feast for the eyes.
Had an amazing stay with family here.Beautiful interior with great staffs and all the facilities were perfect.Swimming pool is a must to go in this hotel.Worth the money staying here and the food also the cultural dance was really good.A must stay in Jaipur!
Excellent art and royal theme all over the place! Innumerable detailing is seen in the inside the rooms and outside the rooms on the floors, walls, roofs, stairs, railings, lounges, corridors, and so on. For someone to take a look closely into each one of the detailing done by the hotel on all those spaces and surfaces mentioned above, it will surely take more than one full day! Fabulous work done by the hotel on that front. There are a lot of rooms and convoluted corridors taking you to those rooms, you can easily get lost to find your way out. But the focus given to create innumerable relaxing hall spaces, tables and seating, lounges, etc. are amazing. Great place!
The Umaid bhawan is located just behind the collectorate. It looks prettier on digital images we had captured. Positives - Location, Space, Swimming Pool, Service Negatives - Poor WiFi, less spread in Buffet B/F, Cost for Food. It would have been great if they had a shop to have summing suit! we couldn't enjoy waters. The bedding is concern for me, they are soft spring ones which would really hurt you, if you are used to a firm one. One should appreciate the efforts to keep the place clean and tidy, of course everything comes at a Cost. We couldn't get any benefit for group booking, they should seriously consider added fringe benefits to group stays.
Interesting hotel thanks to its Indian "heritage" style architecture and decoration, although it is not an old palace or haveli. The rooms (we stayed at a Royal Suite and it is worth the extra cost) are very spacious and carefully set up, with large shower, bath and a sitting area. There is a small swiming pool which is good to refresh after the day's sightseeing and a nice terrace with open roof restaurant where the highlight is the tandoori charcoal grill (with very affordable prices). The downsides are its location in the town (a cul-de-sac with nothing around, although its close enough to the Pink City by tuk tuk or taxi) and the wifi, free, but it doesnt reach all the rooms.
A true Indian architectural haveli experience in the modern age. Beautiful and amazingly decorated hotel with a perfect india touch. Rooms big, clean with a sitting area outside Each room where u can enjoy an evening snack or a morning coffee while chilling outside. Pools are refreshing, breakfast is tasty, evening show is entertaining.
It was such a breath of fresh air staying at Umaid Bhawan from all the previous places I've stayed during my travels in Nepal and Delhi - what stood out about this hotel was that there was so much intricate ornate beauty of its design and attention to detail that has gone into their excellent standard of hospitality. I was beyond comfortable and relaxed throughout my stay, a high level of cleanliness and upkeep was maintained, and the staff were very attentive, friendly and courteous. Furthermore, the rooftop restaurant had an excellent range of options and everything we ordered was delicious - the best part was how conveniently located it was. Would most certainly recommend anyone coming to Jaipur to stay at this beautiful hotel!
The hotel itself is beautiful, a lot of work has gone into making it a unique place to stay. The craftsmanship and ornateness is second to none. The rooms are big, breakfast had a good choice of Indian and western dishes, tried both and all were delicious!! The rooftop bar/restaurant was lovely. Each night they have Indian dancers who were so amazing and made the atmosphere special. Pool was a bit of a let down, only a few loungers made from cast iron so not easy to manoeuvre! Not great after a hot sticky day of sightseeing. The staff were particularly lovely. Nothing was too much bother, and they even made us a bespoke "packed breakfast" on the day we left as we had to leave so early they were worried we weren't going to have breakfast!! Would definitely recommend this hotel!
The best hotel during our trip in India. It is a 3 stars hotel but much better than some 4 stars hotels. Very good dinner in the restaurant. Staff is very helpful. Our room was clean, big and comfortable with a terrace to the pool.
Amazingly decorated place!Feels like u r indeed staying at a palace.Very friendly and helpful staff. The place is filled with antiques and its a pleasure to see those things.Room and bathroom were clean and very well maintained.Would definitely stay here again whenever i visit Jaipur.
