Excellent hotel. Impeccably clean. Nice swimming pool. Fast and friendly service. The free breakfast was good and restaurant food was also good. The only minor negative is it is about 600m from the main road but it made it up by pricing itself lower than better located hotels

Large rooms , nice view , large Fridge in room were great .beds were uncomfortable . Only one reception working so check -in took a long time . Breakfast was not good . The bike rental was $20 per day which was high, should be included as amenities in my opinion but what was unusual is that they requested additional $250 deposit per bike , despite having your credit card on file . When bike was returned they don’t refund you at that time . For some strange reason they told us will be done at check out . If you have an early check out then no one working night shift which was odd considering it was a large property with lots of guests.

I was just here 6 months ago and came back. The lady at the front desk remembered me and was just as helpful now as the first time. I stayed in the same room with the plunge pool and double balcony. The only complaint was the couch bed was terrible. Other than that, I had a great second stay. Awesome food from Soda Garabito, easy covid test from across the street, pool was great and a short walk to the strip. I love this place.
I really enjoyed my stay. The plunge pool on the balcony was a nice touch and the room was perfect. Housekeeping made the bed and brought towels daily and I liked that they asked me for a time range so I never had to worry about running into them. Front desk staff was very kind and was very helpful setting up my covid test. The food was my only complaint however I mostly ate at the soda next door anyway. The hotel location was off the strip but still close enough. I will definitely stay here next time I am in Jaco !
We enjoyed our stay at the Oceano. The staff was always friendly, the food was great, hotel was clean and comfortable. The location was fine, it was easy to walk to different restaurants or stores nearby. Balcony view was awesome. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
