Summary:

Great private and secure home in Opera Salvaje, one of the most renowned residential neighborhoods in Playa Hermosa. Just 2 km from the beach, this 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home features an ample backyard with a pool, BBQ and bar area.



The Space:

The house features an open floor plan, including a living/TV room, dining and kitchen area, with high ceilings that create a sense of space throughout. All rooms and common areas have A/C units. There is WIFI service available throughout the entire house and cable on each one of the TVs in the house.



BEDROOMS

There are 3 bedrooms in the house, each with ceiling fans and A/C units. The master bedroom and room #2 are inside the house and room #3 has a separate entrance through the kitchen area. This last room has an independent entrance through the parking area and a kitchenette to give more privacy to the guests staying in this space. Each of the rooms have the following bed configuration:



Room #1 - King bed + attached bathroom

Room #2 - Queen bed + detached guest bathroom

Room #3 - Queen bed + attached bathroom

Living Room - Sofa bedAwA



The bathroom features all of your necessities including towels, face washcloths and environmentally friendly soap.



KITCHEN

The kitchen is fully equipped and comes with:



- Fresh Costa Rican coffee.

- Cooking essentials such as oil, salt and pepper

- Full size fridge and freezer.

- Oven and range top.

- Blender.

- Cutting boards and a set of sharp knives.

- Microwave.

- Glasses, wine glasses, cups and coffee mugs.

- Plenty of pots/pans/cooking utensils.

- Colander.



OUTDOOR AREA

Outside, on the front porch there is a terrace, parking space for up to 3 cars, swimming pool, bar, laundry room with washer & dryer and a gas BBQ grill.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the whole house. There’s only one small storage room where the owner keeps his personal belongings and is off limits.



The Neighborhood:

Opera Salvaje is a great gated community that is located in Hermosa Beach on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. This community is situated on a road called Calle Hermosa and is only a 2 minute drive to the beach. ‘Opera’, as some locals call it, is surrounded by lush rainforest and some houses have a view over Hermosa or an amazing view of the ocean. The community has 24/7 security, Opera Salvaje Swim Club (not owned by Opera) and a community playground. A short drive from Opera Salvaje you find the town of Hermosa and the beach.



Playa Hermosa is popular with surfers because of its consistent surf break. The long stretch of dark sand beach of Hermosa is perfect for a beach walk or to hang out and watch the surfers. Hermosa has several restaurants that are located on the beachfront where locals and tourists hang out. You will also find a variety of small supermarkets around town.



For more amenities and service you can go to the town of Jaco which is north of Hermosa and only a 10 minute drive away. Here you will find supermarkets, banks, spas, casinos, medical services, shops and a movie theater. There are plenty of activities to do in and around the Hermosa and Jaco area such as zip lining, horseback riding, ATV tours, yoga classes, biking, hiking and of course surfing.



Getting Around:

It is best if you have your own car since the house is not walking distance to Playa Hermosa or Playa Jaco. You can always request a red cab to move around town or go visit other nearby beaches. Nevertheless, if you're not driving a car we recommend mobilizing using Uber taxi service if you have access to any smartphone device. Note that if you want to hang out in playa Hermosa it will take you around 25 min to walk to the beach or nearby restaurants. The distance to cover is around 2 km (1.24 miles). If any assistance is needed to set up transportation or even rent a car please don't hesitate to contact us.



Other Things to Note:

- Check-in and check-out: Check-in is available anytime after 3 p.m. on your arrival day. Please check out by 11 a.m. on your departure day so our housekeeping team has time to prepare the property for the next guests.

- Property access: Please follow the provided check-in instructions carefully to ensure a smooth arrival.

- No smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house and on the terrace.

- Quiet hours: Please keep noise to a minimum between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. out of respect for our neighbors.

- Toilets: To protect the property’s wastewater system, please do not flush paper towels, feminine hygiene products, or trash.

- Pets: Pets are welcome. An additional cleaning fee applies.

- Before departure: Please remove any opened food items from the refrigerator and turn off all lights and air conditioning units.

- Damage or missing items: If you notice anything damaged or missing upon arrival, please notify us immediately so we can address it.

* **Parking and grounds:** Please keep the parking area clear of obstructions and dispose of all trash in the designated bins.
