This place has everything you could want. Beautifully decorated and ready for a day at the beach or just resting by the pool. Walking distance from the beach's favorite restaurants, Full kitchen, every room with a TV and its own bathroom. You will also have a laundry room and parking.

Good overall but some issues

This home was very close to the beach which was nice. I decided to stay here mostly bc of the pool. However, it was full of leaves and debris when we arrived. The net was shredded so I had to go purchase one so we could enjoy the pool. It appears they are doing some repairs to the home. There was a newish refrigerator in the kitchen however no ice maker or trays available to freeze water to make ice so we had to purchase a lot of ice bags. There was a fridge out in the garage but when I opened it it was full of mold and bugs. No dish towels or hot pads available. Kitchen was otherwise well stocked. There are no cleaning supplies and no vacuum! They allow pets so it would have been ideal to have at least a vacuum. All that was available was a broom so I swept with that daily to try and keep the sand from the beach cleaned up. Blinds broken in the master room. Beds were comfortable and it was nice they provided beach towels for the pool. I messaged the host privately to let him know of the issues but he never responded.

Wonderful house & pool

My husband and 2 little dogs loved this house! Pool and back patio was very nice!Back patio is fully fenced in so we felt safe with the dogs off leash.Beds were comfortable. Decor modern. Plenty of space for us!We had all necessities needed.Everything is very close to either eat or shop.Beach is right across street. Not crowded.We absolutely loved our stay!

Poor communication: No control over thermostat

This stay was very disappointing. Location was great and it was a really nice house; however the host was not responsive at all. They did not answer any questions about pet requirements and then blamed us for having animals and not paying the additional fee. We also had no control over the thermostat and it was really cold; we were freezing all night and the host would not respond. When asked for a refund, he stated he wouldn’t because “we already owed him for the pets”. It’s a shame because the house was really nice, but the management of it was poor.

Great winter break

Our week in Jacksonville Beach was perfect. The house is exactly as described and shown. In under 2 blocks we were wading through powdery white sand. The beach is beautiful. The house is close to a lot of restaurants. Sitting in the back by the pool was a perfect place to read. Everything was so tastefully decorated. We’d be happy to return.
