I stayed at the property with my husband, one dog and one cat. Although I was pleased to be able to bring my pets, the pet fee was quite high compared to other properties. Be aware it is very difficult to have your pets accompany you to the upstairs bedroom. They must be carried up the circular staircase. We had a 45 pound dog and that was not a possibility. We also had one litter box and did not want to carry it upstairs. So basically you have to lock your animals in the lower part of the unit while you sleep upstairs. The bedroom upstairs is very lovely – quite possibly the best part of the home. The view is amazing and the room is quite cozy. There was local streaming TV on the upstairs television, but not on the downstairs. We were able to receive a guest code to add apps to the downstairs television. There are two thermostats for the downstairs AC. This is quite confusing and neither one of the units were very responsive to touch. There is no instructions as to which unit you are supposed to use to control the air conditioning. There is no central heat, which was an issue for us as we stayed in November and it got quite cold. The only heat in the unit is from the portable heater. The shower will only stay hot for about 3-4 minutes. The multiple showerheads in the shower are very low pressure and quite unusable. This was a disappointment for us as the pictures of the shower looked so nice. The view was very lovely and the best part of our stay.
