The listing said "dogs give us 5 stars", and my huaband and I both agreed that our dogs would give the property 5 stars. It was like taking them to a dog park, but having the whole place to ourselves.

We love how quiet it is!! They really keep everything clean even the shed full of games is nice and organized!!! Our dogs love the huge yard to run and play!!! This is our go to when we go to visit our family!!!

Near shopping & restaurants yet still secluded

I have stayed here 2X because it is close to family and great for dogs. Large shady yard! There was a hole that my dog found which I was assured will be looked at. I also had an issue with neighbor’s chicks coming in under privacy fence. If you have a dog with high prey drive you’ll have to be watchful.

Very Nice 😊

Spent the weekend at Moody’s. Wonderful time. Relaxing, outdoorsy area. We are from upstate NY and Wisconsin and love the rustic, small town feel but with city life nearby etc. this was PERFECT!!!!! The place was so welcoming and clean, and our pup was also welcome. Will return. Thank you!!!😊

The house was good inside. WE bought bath mats as the showers were very slippery. The foundation of the house was ugly but that was minor. Neil was very nice and any concerns were answered promptly.

great yard for dogs!

Very clean home located right off of Moody Road. Positives - easy check-in; very clean home; comfortable mattresses with good quality linens on beds (we used 2 of the 3 beds, with no complaints); large fenced in yard for the dogs. Also, if you have a membership/guest pass, there's a great YMCA within walking distance of the home. Be aware that this home does use well water, which in this part of Florida has a distinctive "sulphur" smell and taste. We're not used to it, and preferred buying water to drink/make coffee. We arrived late at night and didn't know to bring water, but fortunately owners had provided 4 small bottles in the refrigerator which got us through the first night. We predominantly showered and did laundry at a nearby relative's home. The home is older, with uneven floors, older windows, etc, so expect that. No curtains on windows/doors. Neighbors have a rooster, which was a surprise the first morning, but we didn't really notice it after that. We spent most of our time away from the house and so didn't have a chance to utilize the provided outdoor games, picnic table, fire pit, or board games, but did notice there were quite a few provided.

Perfect in every way

My two small dogs and I were in town for a competition and this property was perfect for our needs. Tucked back in a quiet neighborhood with a fully fenced HUGE yard the dogs had plenty of room to play. The house has everything you could need including big Roku ready flat screen TVs. The bed was comfortable and kitchen even had a keurig. I will definitely be back next year.

Convenient Location

Our daughter and husband bought a house in Green Cove Springs, so this property was the perfect location for us to stay with our dogs and have our own space. Traveling to their house to help move them in was a breeze. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Friendly neighbors and very quiet. As long as we have our dogs, we will stay here when we come back to visit the kids.

Awesome Property

The house and property was perfect for my family, including our three dogs. We stayed for a total of a week and enjoyed every minute of it. Easy check-in and check-out. Having the yard fully fenced in was great so that we were able to let the dogs off of their leashes and run around. The house was very clean and fully stocked with so many great books and games! In addition, it was in a prime location with just a short drive to various restaurant/fast food/shopping options. My personal favorite being Whiteys Fish Camp just a ten minute drive away. If I were to visit the Jacksonville/Orange Park area again, I would definitely consider coming back.

Great Property!

We chose this property due to the one acre fenced yard for our dogs. They LOVED the yard! Our 2 yr old German Shephard ran for two solid days! She sniffed every inch of the yard and ran the perimeter of the fence several times a day. The yard is mostly surrounded by privacy fence with neighborhood houses on the other side of the fence. Chain link fence on the left side and front with only two houses on the other side of the clain link. Noise from neighbors was never an issue. The outdoor "game room" was a shed with several outdoor activities which our 11 yr old loved! We never got around to enjoying the fire pit, but it looks like it would have been fun...especially when the weather cools down some. The inside of the "cabin" was nicer than I anticipated. It's an old house so keep that in mind. The floors had that old house slope to them, which became kind of endearing after a day or so. The living room had plenty of seating. There were also a lot of games for us to play, which encouraged family time vs TV time. The only dining area was the high top table with 4 chairs. This was perfect for our needs. There are also 4 bar stools at the counter. The kitchen was not very well equipped for actual cooking. Very limited supply/assortment of pots, pans, baking dishes (such as 9x13 pans, etc), serving/cooking utensils and knives. We made do and purchases some things to use while there. I did mention this to the owner and she said they will take inventory and address the issue. A lot of people don't really cook much anymore so for those this would be totally fine. Remember the house uses well water so there is a slight odor to it when you first turn it on and the water is discolored in the toilets - but, it's NOT dirty. For me, the simple fix was I bought a gallon or two of water for my drinking. No one else cared so it wasn't a big deal at all. Having grown up with well water like this, I would save washing white colored clothes for when I returned home. Again, this is not a big deal. The beds were quite comfortable as were the pillows. The three bedrooms were all a good size. The master bathroom was nice and big. The only issue we had with the bathroom was the very weak water pressure in the shower. The front porch was a great place to enjoy morning coffee or an evening drink. Overall we would gladly return to this property, with out dogs! The owner was very quick to respond to any communication I had sent. For being in the woods, I saw NO bugs!

Just right for what we needed.

Nice woodsy/cabin feel. Liked hearing the chickens in the morning. Little difficult to see entrance at night. Maybe get a small spot light to shine on the Moody Pines sign for out front. Overall is was a good stay. Thank you
