LuLu’s Cottage is a single level waterfront retreat tucked away in the quiet and peaceful area of Sandy Creek on Lake Martin. Relax on the screened porch & catch a glimpse of blue herons, birds, squirrels and the occasional deer. Park your boat at the large dock and head out for a day of beaching, fishing, skiing or tubing. Enjoy all the amenities that include kayaks, charcoal grill and outdoor bar, fire pit, in water lily pad and lounging! Close to Auburn for gameday weekends. Perfect area for fishing..

Enjoy watching beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the large completely covered dock or screened porch, in the quiet neighborhood of Smith Mountain Estates, which includes a completely restored firetower offering gorgeous views of the lake and miles of hiking. Dare Park, located a couple of miles away, offers a public boat ramp, park, sandy beaches and swimming as well as covered picnicking. Dadeville is 10 min, Alexander City is 20 mins and Auburn is 35 mins drive.

Maximum occupancy is 6 guests. Any additional overnight guests will be charged $50 per night per guest.

Great lakefront location. Clean and comfortable. Beds were soft and comfortable, cozy feel to the entire home. Great location, no steps to home. Kids loved the underwater lights for fishing and the Lilly pad for play. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at LuLu’s Cottage! The home was clean and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable and the screen porch was wonderful! We loved we could bring our boat and it was easy to dock it at the side of the boathouse. The area is peaceful and gorgeous! We will definitely book again!

This lake house has everything you need for a lovely stay. It was very clean and comfortable. It is easy to access and close enough to town if you need to go grab something. The location on the water is quiet. It was perfect for swimming and playing in the water off the dock. Our daughter loved the lily pad/float. The only boats were people accessing the houses. We also spent many hours on the back porch in the evenings resting and reading. Hosts were nice and communicative. They even checked with me before letting the lawn crew come during our stay. Would stay here again!

Amazing Place

We were absolutely blown away by this house & the hospitality of the owners, Keith & Cindy. They gave us tons of information leading up to our arrival. We walked in to a lovely fresh smell, and an incredible charcuterie box, card and balloons the hosts left for the 50th birthday we were there to celebrate! This house is very inviting, beautifully decorated and has everything you need to cook in the kitchen. The bedding and beds were amazingly comfortable, the property was quiet with sounds of nature and most importantly SO clean! It was a perfect, quiet, serene location that served as our home base as we explored the local areas and it was an easy drive to Talladega for the NASCAR race. If we ever find ourselves back in this area we will definitely stay again!

Beautiful Home & Great Amenities

The listing doesn't do justice to HOW NICE THIS PROPERTY IS! This is no "builder's grade" vacation home. It was more like renting a friend's place. The cove location on the lake is also a plus and it was easy to get to Auburn for the game. The amenities were exceptional - the hosts have thought of everything! I will say to definitely CONSIDER THE POSSIBLITY OF EXCEEDING THE 6 PERSON GUEST LIMIT. YOU WILL BE CHARGED AN EXTRA FEE ($50/night/person) FOR EVERY NIGHT AND EVERY PERSON WHO STAYS AT THE PROPERTY.
