Pricey for what you get, but good location and great views.
Great location and was a great lower cost option. I enjoyed that it was in Teton village.
The property is conveniently close to Grand Tetons National Park. To be fair, I didn't realize what a hostel is. Due to COVID19, we couldn't get ice. Towels were limited, there was no tv, and no coffee. This is used and appears to have been designed for winter skiers and I wonder if that is why there is a smell of old equipment in the room. I will not stop here again.
Very clean, friendly and helpful service, very reasonably priced, great location. No complaints!
Needed a place to sleep. Met all expectations for a hostel. Private bath, comfortable bed.
Great location. No frills family lodging. Community cooking areas offer cost saving opportunities for reasonably priced access to the resort area near Jackson Hole. Parking does require some coordination, (45 minute parking and near lot was full in the evening but only a short walk from the other lot).
Rustic lodge, very simple and fosters a great sense of community among staff and guests. Great place for kids to see how things used to be. :)
Great location in Teton Village and good value for the area. It’s a hostel, not a hotel so don’t expect upgrades and amenities.
Nice clean room with a good shower. Hostel in a great location. Friendly helpful staff.
Loved all of it! Convenient location and cute resident kitty
Perfect place for a family of four. Lots of hooks on the walls for hanging your stuff, comfortable beds, a couple of benches with storage in them. The staff was very friendly, and Lionel the cat was awesome. The laundry room was convenient and it only cost $3 a load (washing and drying). My son and I played several games of pool, I did a couple of puzzles, and generally made much use of the common areas. We drank many cups of the free coffee and tea and cocoa.
Nice motel 8n Teton Village. Good location close to everything.
This is a cheaper hotel in a very expensive town. It's pretty basic. But you come to jackson hole to be outside, not hang in the room. For that it's great. The rooms are clean and functional. The hotel staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and there free drinks in the lobby. All cooking and fridge facilities were downstairs. I'd have paid a few bucks extra for a fridge/microwave in the room, but that may be more of an expense than i realize. And i want to re-emphasize how great the staff was.
Great service and fun atmosphere. Fun game room. Right in Teton Village and not too expensive. Perfect for singles looking for adventure or families looking to save a buck. Has only the bare essentials in the room: beds, shower, toilet and sink.
Beware as the typical expected amenities these days are not included such as a tv and a/c. We had three people I. Our party - two adults and a teen. We said three people when reserving and up popped a king room- great! Then after booking in notices it said kind BED, not BEDS. I called and asked and they told me it is one bed to which I questioned why they would have offered that, she offered they could put a mattress in there - thinking of the normal space in normal rooms- sure that could work for two days. When we arrived the room was very "rustic" - the mattress was propped in a corner and we had to move and stack furniture just to get the extra mattress in and when getting out of bed during the night- it was a bit tricky so my husband didn't step on my child! We questioned the hotel and they said that orbitz doesn't let them say what amenities are not included and we should have checked out their hotel page FAQ- so do that before you book here! Also with the room space and why they didn't mention the tight squeeze - they didn't want to force people to get two rooms- I appreciate that but at least when I take the time to call- mention it... they did have a game room where you could play pool and games and watch tv. So, just beware- the hotel is more like glamping to the normal person- I'm not a glamour so I won't be back. If you are- go for it!
My family and I stayed here for two nights in early June 2017. This is a resort area so you will have a hard time finding reasonaly priced accommodations. The Hostel is an inexpensive alternative BUT you must remember that you are staying at a hostel. That means there will be no frills or extras that you would receive in a normal hotel. With that being said you do get your own private room/bath (which is not always the norm in a hostel). They have many activities to keep you entertained in the common area in the basement. Access to microwave, hot plates, ice machine, refrigerator, etc. The attendant that checked us in was friendly and very helpful with things to do in the area. Parking is free and right next to the building. Free wifi is a benefit as well.
The Hostel places you next to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and a short stroll from other popular sights like Teton Range. This 55-room hostel welcomes guests with conveniences like ski-in/ski-out access, free in-room WiFi, and free self parking.
All 55 heated rooms provide portable fans. Guests can stay connected with free WiFi.
Guests staying at The Hostel enjoy ski-in/ski-out access, free WiFi in public areas, and laundry facilities. There's free parking if you drive. Staff members can help with accommodation requests, and provide front-desk service during limited hours. Other amenities at this ski hostel include a garden, a picnic area, and barbecue grills.
Pricey for what you get, but good location and great views.
