Beware as the typical expected amenities these days are not included such as a tv and a/c. We had three people I. Our party - two adults and a teen. We said three people when reserving and up popped a king room- great! Then after booking in notices it said kind BED, not BEDS. I called and asked and they told me it is one bed to which I questioned why they would have offered that, she offered they could put a mattress in there - thinking of the normal space in normal rooms- sure that could work for two days. When we arrived the room was very "rustic" - the mattress was propped in a corner and we had to move and stack furniture just to get the extra mattress in and when getting out of bed during the night- it was a bit tricky so my husband didn't step on my child! We questioned the hotel and they said that orbitz doesn't let them say what amenities are not included and we should have checked out their hotel page FAQ- so do that before you book here! Also with the room space and why they didn't mention the tight squeeze - they didn't want to force people to get two rooms- I appreciate that but at least when I take the time to call- mention it... they did have a game room where you could play pool and games and watch tv. So, just beware- the hotel is more like glamping to the normal person- I'm not a glamour so I won't be back. If you are- go for it!

My family and I stayed here for two nights in early June 2017. This is a resort area so you will have a hard time finding reasonaly priced accommodations. The Hostel is an inexpensive alternative BUT you must remember that you are staying at a hostel. That means there will be no frills or extras that you would receive in a normal hotel. With that being said you do get your own private room/bath (which is not always the norm in a hostel). They have many activities to keep you entertained in the common area in the basement. Access to microwave, hot plates, ice machine, refrigerator, etc. The attendant that checked us in was friendly and very helpful with things to do in the area. Parking is free and right next to the building. Free wifi is a benefit as well.

Very similar experience to a European hostel. Bare bones but cheap and friendly.

i recommend!! great location, great area, and the prices are ok.

Good, clean, basic accommodations for good value for the area. Great for campers, hikers, distance travelers. Good areas for gathering, eating, reading and playing games. Easy to meet new people. Easy access to other village amenities.

This is a very old and rustic hotel with rooms past their prime and few amenities. The staff is friendly and the downstairs lounge is nice for cooking or relaxing.

The Hostel was a good place to sleep after a day of mountain gazing but had not much else to brag about

The rooms are quite clean and basic. This must be by far the best deal in town if you have a group of 3 or more. The hostel is very conveniently located in Teton Village, within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. The lowest level offers a very large communal fridge, microwaves, and game room. (I did not try the wifi, but was required to answer the question as to how good it is).

Motel met our expectations and good location. Thank you!

It's located in beautiful Teton Village right beside other much more expensive hotels. Had everything we needed at a much smaller price tag.

not good for early birds, no coffee before 7:30! You want to get up early to see wildlife right? Or do some other sport activities.

This is the most simple experience in hotel stays. You have the freedom to do as much as you want or as little as you like. Staying at the Hostel breaks away from our lives of social media connection. Expect it when you stay here and enjoy the reasons why you are at Jackson Hole, Tetons, & Yellowstone area. Love this place.

Cheap, clean place to stay next to Grand Tetons. Great scenery in Teton Village. Summer concert series are fun.

the male staff at the front desk was sooooooo rude. He was yelling at us because he assumed the leaking water through the floor is our fault, which is not true. We are so angry.

Came to Jackson to run a marathon, needed a place to shower, sleep & relax and this place was perfect & cheap.

Very basic, but paid 80$ for a room with four beds so no complaints here. Great location.

Almost no amenities. No TV, no phone, no alarm clock. Promo said The Hostel was 4 miles from Jackson but it is 10 miles from Jackson. Bathrooms were recently remodeled and the rooms are clean. Very conveniently located mid-village in Teton Village. Close to restaurants, bars, shops and the tram. At $79 a night the price is a good value for the Jackson area, however.

Two friends and I flew into Jackson Hole for a backpacking trip in GTNP and needed a low budget place to stay the first night befor hitting the trail. I booked a room with four twin beds and a private bath for cheaper than any motels you might find in the area and counted it a success. When we arrived and saw the place, I was even more pleased. The room is bare bones. Really just a place to crash on a bed. But everything was clean and functional and the staff was friendly and service appropriate. If you're headed to Teton Village or Jackson or the Park and intend to spend your time doing things other than sitting around in a hotel room - stay here! The night before our flight out we stayed in one of the nicer hotels in Jackson and regretted spending more just to shower and sleep. Should've gone back to the Hostel.

Great place if you just need a room for the night. If you're looking for amenities, this is not the place for you. Situated at the base of Jackson Hole ski resort, so if you are hitting the mountain it's great!! Felt very safe! I was able to park right by the front door.

Older hotel but a good value compared to other nearby places to stay. Thin walls so you can hear all your neighbors (and they can hear you). Creaky floors on walkways will keep you up. I would recommend if all you need is a place to sleep.

Thank you for providing this thoughtful feedback. As one of the few economy options left in Jackson Hole, we also try to accommodate those with an additional person above which the regular beds can accommodate. We realize it makes the room tight, which we try to explain to guests. I agree that if you need a standard sized hotel room with TV, AC and a pool, our hostel may not be suitable. Again, than you for taking the time to provide feedback.

Thanks for your kind feedback. I am glad that you enjoyed your stay with us, and that we were able to help you with your activity selection. We are happy to have really strong wi-fi, which guests coming from the near wi-fi desert of Yellowstone definitely notice! Hopefully you can visit us again.
