Last minute booking

Room and area were nice. The hotels in this area are very pricey. We would still return to stay in the area in the future.

In no specific order, listing these issues hoping the property will address them for the next guests. BTW, we stayed at their best room. 1. Hair dryer was not working. 2. Room did not have sufficient lighting 3. Power outlet was only on one side of the bed. Either I or wife can change phone at night. 4. Mini fridge was on the floor, door was catching on carpet when open/close. And it smells bad. I had to wipe it clean. 5. Curtain rods were dirty. Black color came off when I wiped them. 6. When it rained, water leaked from ceiling into my suitcase and damaged my clean clothes.

We had 2 rooms and they were very nice rooms. We had a nice balcony that we could have enjoyed more but the hotel only supply's 1 chair per room. The weather was nice and the door to the balcony had a screen door which was great to let in the cool mountain air for one room. The other room the screen was broken and not usable. the elevator did not start at the lobby, so we did have to carry luggage up first flight of stairs. When we check in a young lady helped us which was great (friendly staff). All in all we really enjoyed the hotel and surrounding area.

Good value

The hotel was clean and the staff was responsive. It is an older facility that could use some interior updates.

This hotel is run down and not well-maintained. Was not anywhere worth the price they charge. We will never return and would recommend that other travelers find a better choice.

While the property is a bit dated, it is clean, safe, and conveniently located near the Tetons and Jackson. Highly recommend a stay here for the price. I would stay here again.

Beds comfortable, bathroom clean, cute lodge but definitely needs some updating and carpets replaced. Seems like the owners are just letting things go. Decking needs sanding and staining. Roof outside balcony has shingles that need to be repaired. A little attention and it would be great.

The room was dark, small, rugs filthy, shower had no pressure. For the price of the room we were highly dissatisfied and will never stay there again. Also, as senior citizens we had difficulty carrying our luggage to the 2nd floor. In general we felt the facility was filthy and run down and over priced.

Not sure how this property had a good rating on Expedia. I no longer trust their ratings. This place was a filthy pigsty. Hotel carpet was dirty throughout. Old, worn. Furniture was scratched, old and dated. Elevator barely worked. Do more research and stay somewhere else. If you’re just doing the Grand Tetons, stay in Jackson.

Paying for Location

You are definitely paying for location at this hotel. Right in the heart of Teton Village. Rooms are super old with no AC. The front desk did give us a box fan so that was helpful. Bed and sheets were clean, pool and hot tub were good. But overall super old hotel without any kind of updates.

Stayed in one of the “suites” for 6 nights in August. Not worth the price. Sorry but it’s in desperate need of a refresh. In our room, the carpet looks nasty and there was a strong smell of mold by the wall mirror. The two chairs have tired springs that make them uncomfortable to sit in. There’s a very small dorm room frig on the floor which makes it awkward to use unless you get on your hands and knees. We had a shared, very weathered deck that had one plastic deck chair for the two of us to use. I noticed the room next to us only had one chair too. When the neighbors use the shower it sounds like a jet engine in our bathroom. We were woken up one night to the smell of smoke and the fire department at the door. They wanted to know if we had started a fire in our fireplace and needed to get to our deck for some reason. The hotel employee apologized for the inconvenience. I can understand the need to locate the source and I definitely appreciate the firefighters doing their job, but it would have been nice if the hotel gave us a little something for the inconvenience after waking us up. I’m not asking for a free night but maybe a couple drinks at the bar, a discounted dinner……something. Finally, I have never stayed somewhere that charges a daily “resort” fee. Every day I had a new charge of $29 added to my credit card. The card that I gave to them for amenities. By the way, the neighbors supposedly had started a fire in their fireplace and that was the case of the smoke.
