This property has historic charm and a divine location. I am currently watching the sun set on a balcony at the base of Jackson Hole Ski Resort, overlooking the Tetons. The hotel needs to invest in renovations soon. Ideal location.

Enjoyed the quietness of the hotel. Although it was older and outdated, I really enjoyed the outdoor pool (lap pool size), dry sauna, and hotub.

Very outdated and the carpet in the hallway appeared to be just worn out and dirty. Location was very good though. You have to go up 4-5 steps to get to the elevator which is challenging if your luggage is heavy.

Room was dark and cramped with burlap lamp shades which would be hard to clean. The door lock was old school key with no sound proofing. The room was clean with no view. Restaurant was not operating during our stay.

Great property. Seems a little aged. Lots of squeaks. Air handler was noisy. Very quiet and comfortable bed. Bathroom amenities were of good quality. The old style had a cramped and tight feel. I was not aware of any new features. The place made for an excellent stay if this is your style.

Mostly a good experience. Easy check in. Beautiful room. Very comfy bed. The hotel is old and needs some updating and maybe better maintenance, but overall I was sad to leave. I would definitely stay at Alpenhof again.

The hotel needs an update for sure. The hot tub was filthy, so gross. The pool was nice, and warm for a chilly night swim. There are only a handful of accessible outlets in the room and majority of them are in use by other appliances, so no multi-charging. The stay was fine, but just not up to it’s potential

Booked this regrettably. Bed made w same sheets from prior guest w blood on it. Towels stained w large pink spots.laundry advertised. Told laundry open 9-9, located in basement. Total disaster to walk through unclean kitchen. Breakfast advertised/not provided. Hv to carry bags up a flight of stairs to get to elevator. Room lighting very dim. Would not Recommed. In its haydaymust hv been well kept and lovely: now just awful

The property has a rustic appeal. The front desk experience at check in/out was excellent. The bathroom has been upgraded, nicely. However, the hall and bedroom carpets are dirty, our sheets had yellow stains and the room had an off putting smell as did the sauna. Housekeeping replaced all the sheets while we waited. Which we did not use the sauna because of the smell. The bathroom faucet was loose and the handle came off while using. Which I fixed.
