On my first night in Turkey went for a shower before going to bed. Ina freak incident and holding the shower cubicle handle to slide it open after finishing my shower the shower door shattered whilst I was inside the shower. I had many cuts and was bleeding. We immediately called reception and a staff member came to the rom and started to clean the glass, I managed to stop the bleeding with towels with one cut in particular to my right hand being deep. The next morning I went to reception and was told we could change rooms as we were unable to shower in the current room and there was still glass on the bathroom told but I had to pay £100 in damages which the hotel manager and decided in their morning. meeting. They did not ask me how I was. I informed them I wasn't going to be paying and for the manager to speak to me. The replacement room despite being larger was extremely noisy and were unable to sleep. No manager came to see me, so I was on suspense for the remainder of my stay and no one at any point asked how I was. No care for their guests and attempting to gain money from clearly a freak incident with the staff member witnessing me standing in the shower wet bleeding out surrounded by glass. Very poor customer care and made me to feel uncomfortable.
